I bought the car from a dealer out of State. They installed NISMO coilovers on a ‘27 NISMO. When delivered, the car had a front end clunk at low speeds on uneven surfaces. Imagine my displeasure as the car was new.

The out of State dealer found a local dealer, to me, to look it over. On top of the issues with the coilovers, the Z1 exhaust wasn’t installed well and was hitting the diff and a brace in the back.

My local dealer worked on it for a week and got the exhaust sorted. But, they can’t get the coilovers to stop clunking in the front. I said - ok, let’s order replacements under warranty as the car literally has 300 miles on it. They did and they go in tomorrow. If they continue to make noise, I am done with coilovers. I will take the OEM dampers and put lowering springs on them.

It may seem like this is overworked, but sink yourself in my shoes based on the above. This has been going on for several weeks. It’s not been a good purchasing experience.

As a result, I am trying to be certain a given set of springs will fit so I don’t have to pay installation fees twice.

Hopefully the above helps explain what’s all going on with my situation. Thanks.

Am I reading the last paragraph correctly... Dealer is swapping your Nismo coilovers on your Z?

The RZ34 Nismo platform is not new. Its been out since '24. Because website dont update the model yrs right away, doesnt mean its not compatible.

The lowering springs are not trim specific. Dont believe that I have ever seen a company make 2 different set of lowering springs for a model. Unless the difference is 2wd vs AWD. This is because the AWD is heavier with the transfer case and requires a beefier coil spring setup.
Correct.

Has anyone installed only eibach springs and not had to modify any parts? Is there worry about scraping bottom part of front bumper?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but you shouldn't have to modify anything to add lowering springs, unless it's recommend to shave the bump stops.
I can't speak for non-NISMOs but I have to baby mine in spots to keep from scraping and I'm still at factory height. I assume there's a tad more room on the Sport/Perf/Heritage, but if so, not much.

Keep in mind that the black rubber flaps are designed to deflect if scraped or hit.

I've now reached out to every major MFG. of lowering springs. None will 100% commit to saying their product will fit a '27 NISMO. It's too new; I get it.

You folks are far more familiar - is there anything in the NISMO suspension, on a '27, that would be materially different from a 23+ NISMO? I've scoured the 'net and I'm not finding anything. All that to say, if that's the case - why not just try a set for a '23+ NISMO and move on down the road?

My vote is the springs on a 2027 are identical to '23-'26 springs.

If springs from a base 2009 370Z fit a 2026 Z NISMO, why would they all of a sudden redesign things for 2027? Yes, they beefed the shocks, but that doesn't automatically call for a spring change. And if they did change springs, even if it was just the diameter on one end, they would have spun that up like it was purposefully done for Nordschleife lap times.
Yes, that's speculation, but I just flat out don't see springs changing.
