I've noticed after 175 miles of ownership a plastic on plastic rattle/buzz what seems to be behind the traction control button. If you put pressure on the outer rim of the button while driving it goes away. Also goes away sometimes on it's on when the Z is warmed up inside.

Was this common in the 370s? Anyone know of a simple fix without digging into the dash or wasting precious hours of my life at a dealership?

OMG YES! I have this exact same rattle/buzz in that exact same location, and it's driving my OCD flippin' CRAZY! And yes, simply pressing dash material in that area thankfully does make the noise go away, but unfortunately only temporarily before it comes back again. Totally unacceptable on a vehicle of this expense IMO, and I too am hesitant about having dealer go tearing into it. I'll do the weatherstrip trick (thanks BTW) as a band-aid for now until I have time to explore further and fix it the right way with a more permanent solution.

I would try the foam between the gap of the trim in a previous post I made. I still hear some noise on super bumpy roads. Waiting to see if anyone has better ideas.

Sticking a piece of foam in the steering column has further fixed this issue for me.

Now I am having some sort of buzzing noise in the trunk area when I hit the throttle hard. Anyone have something similar and were able to isolate?

I thought it might be the trunk cover, which I removed. Also removed cargo net, first aid kit, cargo net, and manual. Something is rubbing against something else causing a distinctive buzzing noise at certain RPM.

That is exactly what I did, but the ones in the middle I was able to get down a bit further, but the ones on the edges are where mine are. Also, I was planning at some point to remove that whole dash finisher piece (it comes off in one piece) and put some black felt around the edges so it cannot be seen. The way I resolved the issue now, was to validate it worked and plan to do something more permanent later. The noise was driving me nuts in by brand new car, so I was just happy to quiet things down with little to now cost or pulling my car apart.
Did you manage to fix it on a more permanent basis in the end? If so, how did you do it?

No, the three small pieces of felt have fixed the rattle, been about 8 months and not a peep. I’m just going to leave it the way it is: you cannot even see the felt pieces from the divers seat, so it’s been a non issue for me.

Fwiw, I get a rattle at the top driver side speaker that's on the dash. I believe it's the speaker grill although it sounds like it comes from that general area OP is referring to.

I get really bad rattle in this same area. I put in some foam against the side of the panel but I don't think it helps! I still get the rattle on occasion. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and take my car to the dealership to see if they can fix the problem. This buzz is killing me!

This is what I used instead of the foam seal. Works great so far, and shrinks perfectly flat when the door is closed and inflates back to its original size when the door is opened.

Can you show a picture of your setup? I am curious if that works long-term. I would imagine it'll compact enough over time where it loses effectiveness which is why I changed to putting felt on the plastic trim by speedometer.

I was trying to post some pictures, but it won't let me. Lets see if this works:

BTW, i use 3 strips to allow a better coverage, and one on the bottom as well, on both sides.

Interesting you have on both sides. Did not know it was a problem on passenger side? Let us know how it holds up over the next few months.
I just did the other side because i notice some buzzing from the passenger door after i installed my catback exhaust. Don't know if it fixed it, but wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Will test it out on the weekend.
