I used a small plastic pry tool, but you can just use your fingers and gently pull back the dash finisher a tiny bit to get the small foam pieces in there (you do not need to undo any clips, just gently pull back to make room)... It's a very easy thing to do, and nothing needs to come so if it does not work for your not taking your car apart. But it took me literally a couple mins start to finish, and it worked great.
I'll give it a shot. Hopefully I can hide it a little bit better than in your photos. Thanks for the replies.

You can only see mine because I zoomed in, and the steering wheel is all the way down, otherwise it cannot be seen. You need to see it a bit, so that there is direct contact on the dash and the finisher, if you push it down too far, there won't be enough contact to eliminate the rattles.

You happen to have the approx size of the furniture disks? Also you mentioned you did four. How did you space them out? Can you do a zoom out photo? You have been incredibly helpful!

I bought the smallest ones they had at Home Depot, and just spaced them evenly.

I am eager to hear if this solves your problem, my car was driving me bananas, and this little fix got me squared away.
It does seem like it works. It doesn't look great but will probably be more permanent than anything else at this point.

Are there clips between where I have the felt pads? I found it was tough putting them in certain areas.

I would definitely need to get something black. I am wondering if a felt sheet that can be folded so the top part can be folded down would look better?

That is exactly what I did, but the ones in the middle I was able to get down a bit further, but the ones on the edges are where mine are. Also, I was planning at some point to remove that whole dash finisher piece (it comes off in one piece) and put some black felt around the edges so it cannot be seen. The way I resolved the issue now, was to validate it worked and plan to do something more permanent later. The noise was driving me nuts in by brand new car, so I was just happy to quiet things down with little to now cost or pulling my car apart.

Update us if you decide to go that route.

I got black ones from Amazon and cut them up into thinner strips. About .12 inch thick so easier to stick in there than the Home Depot furniture pads.

Preliminary testing is that it works with only two of them. I added a third one in the middle for good measure as I faintly heard something over larger bumps. Not as in your face and I think I will be happy for this.

Yea, that's a good solution. I was thinking along those same lines as well. That def looks cleaner, and the key is, it solves the problem. Hopefully some other members stumble on this thread.
