Try ArmorAll around the housing where plastic meets plastic. I use an angled dental pick style syringe to apply EVERYWHERE plastic meets plastic in the interior. I had the same noise you described coming from the driver side speaker panel near the windshield. This trick has worked on several vehicles of mine.
Thanks for advice. Not sure if that will work since this issue is something to do with traction control button. Using foam strip presses door again button which stops noise. However the foam tends to compress too much or move as the glue disintegrates which makes it not ideal.

I never said anything about "puking" Armor All, especially into switches. I was referring to a small amount between crevices such as speaker grills, trim, etc. Not going in there with a pressure washer full of Armor All, podna.
It took 20 years of just small amounts of liquids getting into switches, cracks and crevices on our Acura to eventually gum everything up.
Ive been using this trick since 1989 with no problems or "gumming up". Ive pulled several panels in my life to prove so. Of course, Im not using Starbucks as a product so theres that.
I have a 2024 Nissan Z, and had some issues with this rattle buz, and I solved the issue, I know exactly where it is. When you push on the traction button it does make the rattle go away, but that's not where the issue is. It's the dash surround plastic trim; there is no foam installed between that piece of trim and the actual plastic dash assembly. I gently pulled back the plastic dash surround and installed four small discs of adhesive foam in between the dash surround and the actual dash display. The noise is gone, and the car is silent. It was driving me nuts, but it was an easy solution.
I put foam between the dash trim next to the traction control button but as the original poster stated its at temp fix because it compacts and the glue moves around in hot sun. Any photos for exact spots? I am looking to have my friend help me with this and anything would help. Not sure how the dash comes off. Seems like a very intensive job.
This is a 15 second fix. Get a few small furniture discs with the adhesive back and place them in between the actual dash finisher and the plastic digital dash. I thought the rattle was coming from the side of the dash by the traction button, it's not. The reason the foam on the door helps is it put's pressure on the piece that the dash finisher trim clips on to. However, if you want to eliminate that rattle you need to isolate the dash finishing trim from the actual plastic digital dash panel. See image for reference. I used a total of four small foam furniture pads, and it's been dead silent for two weeks.

I used a small plastic pry tool, but you can just use your fingers and gently pull back the dash finisher a tiny bit to get the small foam pieces in there (you do not need to undo any clips, just gently pull back to make room)... It's a very easy thing to do, and nothing needs to come so if it does not work for your not taking your car apart. But it took me literally a couple mins start to finish, and it worked great.
