Heh, heh, heh. The Z gets a lot of attention. I had someone checking mine out yesterday at the local park. I'm sure some folks are just trying to figure out what they're looking at.Rather have the Z, not dime a dozen Corvettes. Not a hit on Corvettes. Exclusivity is OK.
I agree with you 100%. That is why I bought a 280ZX and not a 240Z. I wanted the ZX because it's the first Z I ever thought was cool and good-looking, not because everyone had or wanted one.I don't shop for things based on their popularity, or lack thereof. I don't have an iPhone or Galaxy (whatever the Samsung is) because I want to be like everyone else. And I'm not going to walk around with a Motorola just because everyone has iPhones or Galaxies.
That said, although I don't want a Mustang, I admit that part of not wanting one is because they're EV-REE-WHERE!!!
The 240Z was my first true love and, more than likely, the Z will be my last. Driving the Z is like taking a time machine back to an era of really cool wheels, only this time around, my Z is much more comfortable and faster.I don't shop for things based on their popularity, or lack thereof. The Drive says it will be harder to get one in 2027. Maybe the manual Nismo will be scarce… most dealers will want to rip the cash out of your hand if you show to buy a Z in 2027.

Aftermarket for Vettes, Stangs,Wranglers, and Zs are plentiful. We good. Besides manufacturers have to provide OEM supply for 10 years. You won't be so happy if you still own the Z years after it is cancelled and you can't find parts for it.
Nissan Infiniti is terrible about parts after a vehicle generation is cancelled/ended. 6-12 months later the parts catalog starts filling up with "discontinued" and "no longer available".
That and so few made, good luck to those in the future......
I can absolutely guarantee you that Nissan/Infiniti does NOT maintain parts availability 10 years out.Besides manufacturers have to provide OEM supply for 10 years.
I have a 19 Titan PR. What parts can't you get for it? My dealership has never had an issue getting any parts for my truck. Also, just remember the 2024 Titans are still under the 10-year/100K bumper-to-bumper warranty. I'm pretty sure your dealership is selling you a load of crap if they can't get parts for your 2021.I can absolutely guarantee you that Nissan/Infiniti does NOT maintain parts availability 10 years out.
It happened with my Titan and my Q60.
One year after the Q60 was cancelled, I already couldn't get certain parts for it, and because it was AWD, some parts were specific to the AWD version and you couldn't find jack in that case.
On my new 2021 Pro-4x Titan, there's already a ton of "discontinued" parts for it.
I still buy Nissans because they don't often break, but don't think in 2038 it'll be guaranteed to be able to buy OEM parts.
