I got these recently and they are awesome, even the tech at the shop was loving it
A word of warning - if you take off the decal, literally 99.9% of the horrid adhesive they used for the sticker will remain and it does not come off easily. Using Goo Gone signs you up for a second spray paint job as I have now learned.I was just thinking of color matching the bracket. Good to see it turning out great.
Can the decal on the strut be removed?
Lemon oil has always worked better than goo gone for meA word of warning - if you take off the decal, literally 99.9% of the horrid adhesive they used for the sticker will remain and it does not come off easily. Using Goo Gone signs you up for a second spray paint job as I have now learned.

What's the difference out of curiosity? I am thinking of getting these. I have a Performance trim. Do these impact the hood poppers that get engaged in an accident?Pedestrian!
Officially installed. As many have said, the install is super quick. Very happy with how the color matching turned out too.
I do have some concerns with the hood brackets. I noticed that both bent on the first close, especially the driver side one. I ended up bending it back into place but will need to keep an eye on it over time. I assume it'll get better as the struts loosen up a bit but for now, closing the hood slowly is going to be a thing.
