Between the mods and the proper tune she'Z a whole new experience now. 4th gear chirps are bringing the grins. Yeah, the hype is real. What a difference.

How you like the Michelin tires over the stock Dunlops? I'm assuming its softer and less grippier?

How do you like the Eibach springs with the stock dampers?

How much power do you think it's putting to the ground now after the tune? Did you have it tuned on site or virtually?

Still TBD on that. Only got ~8K miles out of the stock Dunlaps. Same story on first set of Michelins too, despite an alignment. Have read a couple reports that camber may need some fine tuning to get more life out of any of these shoes. I'm a spirited driver when the time/place is right, but not doing burnouts, drifting, track, etc., so not sure what's going on yet except hemorrhaging dough on rubber.

Feel great, just like factory NISMO setup, which is already great and what I was hoping for. Just wanted to tastefully lower her a bit (~1.25") to get rid of the nasty fender gaps.

This was fully remote tuned, not an in-person dyno (yet anyway), so not sure of the actual #s. All I know is it feels proper now. Huge difference over stock. All the tuners I've spoken to have said pretty much the same thing though which is with the mods I've done and with the tuning it normally puts these things in/around the low 500s area.

I wonder what the limit would be as far as torque is concerned for the 9 speed? I know the VR30 doesn't like much over 600 torque for the engine itself, but not sure what the 9 speed could be pushed safely...

If you could, please post your water and oil temps after some pulls or spirited driving. Also ambient temps at the time.

Congrats @Mr. Mac !

I could be wrong about this, but from tire rack you can select specific OE tires. One reason when you search for a specific set/sizes you get multiple choices of what look like the same tires but are different prices. Not sure that ALL OE variants are available of different tires though.

Looked up OE NISMO Dunlops on Tire Rack and the images shown are not the tread pattern on my Z. Strange.

Racebox said that it was at 50% of it's capacity in one of their videos about the 9 speed auto with 750WHP, I'd assume the Nismo's is significantly more stout.

It's good to know that the 9 speed is handling the extra power. Doesn't AMS have a drag Z thats running crazy power with the 9 speed. I think that car has over 850hp. I think they are hitting high 8's in the quarter mile.

essentially, the 9 speed really is an upgrade in every way imaginable over the previous 7 speed. The trans can shift faster stock but the torque mitigation is still really prominent.
