I’m selling my Nismo GT PRO LSD (38420-RSZ154C), currently configured on medium lock setting as a 1.5 way.
Asking $920 retail on Z1 is $1700 before tax and shipping, or best offer.
I also have 4 bottles of Nismo’s recommended oil (75w-140) for $200, one bottle is $71 from Nissan, or best offer...
The OEM unit is 1.5 way, with I believe 6 clutch plates, the cam angles mainly decide how responsive it is to locking, while a specific combination of cam angle and the locking mechanism for increased torque below. The stock Nismo also has an upgraded differential compared to the performance AT...
Their has always been a Pro Series mechanical LSD from Nismo under the part number
38420-RSZ154C, with 3 modes, Low, Medium, High, 6.5 kgf, 8.5 kgf, 14kgf respectively. The only main difference this model offers is a lower profile, the cam angles aren't as harsh and offered as a 2 way directly...
Cold clearances are the same almost always, if you push more power or abuse the car more the oil weight will only matter more in that hotter range, since the VR30 is also quite tight cold 0W is completely fine, though hot 0w20 is only effective until around 226-230 while W30 is 250~; essentially...
Anything below 50k honestly, in my region the market has stagnated and I doubt it'll drop any lower, more so since the Z now is order to build so it's no longer produced in a higher quantity. But besides a monetary aspect, if you enjoy driving on twisties and track the Nismo feel will really...
$680 for the exhaust or best offer retail is $1200, shipping paid for by buyer.[SOLD]
$440 for the Nismo Intakes or best offer retail is $680~, shipping paid for by buyer. [SOLD]
Paypal, Venmo, Zelle are all acceptable.
The same way they beefed up the automatic, I really hope they give the manual the same treatment. The 6 speed alone should feel better overall because of the stiffer engine mounts and transmission mounts but I still hope they improve the manual in someway.
Boosted 6 LDP, they were for 250$ 2-3 weeks back. Also when installing be very careful with the O2 Sensor, make sure there are no twists or the sensor itself is loose.
Yes I have it, https://www.nissanzclub.com/forum/threads/stillen-competition-exhaust-on-a-sport-nissan-z-dont-worry-its-no-longer-an-open-lsd.6103/ this is before lower down pipes, if you’d like to hear it with I can add that as well.
The very same mustang GT that’s known for transmission issues and nis aligned shift forks? It’s also worth noting shifter types like Cable type shifters, direct mount shifter etc, the Z’s has all the jitter because it’s direct mount. Meaning all the mechanical feel with not much dampening, while...
I don't know man, I've driven the GR86, C6 corvette, Nd1 and Nd3 miata, and the Z's mechanical jitter is really the sauce. Downshifting into 2nd gear or revving the top of 3rd and shifting is too good. And the Z's felt really really mechanical, even more so than the 370z Nismo manual I drove...
