I thought of that (stainless vs rust) but there is some validity to that argument.
First, there are stainless variants that rust, especially if they get hot. Not to mention that a lot of systems that advertise 304 may not really be 304.
Second, fabricators can skimp and use weld filler that rusts.
Third, I have no idea how common this is, but I've seen multiple stainless exhaust systems/components that have mild steel flanges, nickel plated to match the stainless tubing. I don't believe it's common to wrap the flanges, so this could be a moo point.

It's definitely something worth considering. The frequent thermal cycling from hot exhaust gases certainly qualifies as an extreme environment for any metal.

NICE!!! Let us know how she does!
I requested a conservative tune (I do not race or have interest in pushing the Z - nothing against that, just personal pref.). 3 Street pulls in 3rd & 4th gear and one on the Dyno in 3rd & 4th. 410 HP. I'm good with that.

I started out at stock height and quickly realized I did not like the play in the wheel. I caught a lot of air underneath when when in WOT in 3rd and 4th. I have since lowered (Blitz divorced rear) and .75 front and 1in back. A lot better handling and looks.

So far here is what I have done:

'24 Z Sport
Swapped LSD
19 Nismo LMRS1s '19s
Blitz suspension
Blitz strut bar
Mishimoto CC
Mishimoto undershroud
Mishimoto magnetic drain plug
2 piece z1 rotors
Akebono calipers - blue
CZP heatX
B6A '3 intakes
Spool Performance '3 full resonated dps
Boost Logic titanium CB
OEM Gtr Red ignition switch
Swapped blue leather seats (custom at shop)
Z1 spoiler (duckbill V2)
Firehawk Indy 500s
Racebox 93 tune

OTW:
Artworks Body Shop full aero kit
Pride Auto polyurethane trans mount
Z1 sways
Z1 rear lower tie bar

I ceramic coated and used dei titanium heat wrap. I do not drive the car in the rain (personal perf.) it's not my daily.
DEI Titanium is totally fine for use in rain, if you ever happen to want to. Old school fiberglass header wrap needed a high-temp silicone spray to seal it from weather/moisture but this is not required with their Titanium lava rock wrap. It's been through years of mud & water (rain and submersed) on our Wrangler with zero issues or degradation.

Glad you mentioned it. I also used their high temp silicone spray on the titanium wrap. Good stuff.

Aliens will find your downpipes in 8,942 years and they'll still be flawless!

You're reworking your whole build right now, right? If so, how close are you to a finish point? I say point because there's always another point after.

I'd be really curious what your external downpipe temps are after a good drive. Happen to have a infrared thermometer? Would be interesting to compared bare, coated, wrapped, and your triple-bagged setup.

Yessssssss! And very excited by Boosted 6 boldness!!!! I do that. Doesn't require as much upgrading to fuel system and produces as much and more power but cleans the valves!. A plus! Im so invested in DI build now. So right now im good. But PI is awesome!!!!.
