AI to the rescue. Looks a 2-1 (2.5”-3”) merge collector is good for ~500-600hp. I‘m sticking with 93 pump & stock fuel system, so remark should be good to go…

Have you seen this yet? This does and easy 500+whp on a 24 Z with HKS high flow cat downpipes.

I actually run the remark rear section as well. It sounds good but drones a slight bit.

Nice find. I like the bolted flange connections. I would love a setup with v-band flanges - not sure why that’s not a thing.

I think Rae is using v-bands and slip joints but they don’t show a full layout of their exhaust or lowers. I’ve emailed them twice with no response.

I like remark‘s straight pipe cat back setup - they have clean bends from the mid-pipe to the rear section and bolted flanges as well. Also looking at invidia - its 70mm and their x-pipe looks good. i wish they offered a straight pipe version.

also, i like stillen’s comp and awe’s track exhaust - but not a fan of slip joints and clamp-on tips

AWE, Fast Intentions, or...curveball here...Magnaflow!

(hint: the Magnaflow uses V-band flanges and welded on tips)

I am not a fan of the welded-on tips, it leaves the tip in a fixed position with no room for any adjustment. I have the AWE, and the tips can adjust, I prefer to have mine just about flush with the rear bumper, and it looks amazing. I have not had any issues with the tip coming loose, and it's been on for about 3k miles. No leaks, not issues at all.

I am super happy with my AWE as well; thrilled in fact. I made the suggestion to @thesilverbullet since he's previously expressed his desire for V-band flanges and welded tips.

Magnaflow makes a very quality product with great sound/tone and no drone; I have their Overland-Series system on my wife's Wrangler. Perfect fitment since they do utilize true in-house R&D (and manufacturing).

That looks good except for the goofy mufflers and the slip fit connection on the front section. the x-crossover section looks good.

i like the stillen competition- looks clean - just need a 3“ version w/ v-bands and welded tip - lol

i got a price on a SOHO 3” dual - $2,300 custom made in-house w/ v-bands & welded tip ~6weekS build time. If i did that, i would just drive up and have them install and ecutek tune.

Those are resonator chambers to eliminate drone. The system on our Wrangler has something similar. I don't know who SOHO is, but I'll look them up!

I have heard complaints about many of track style exhausts; they drone like crazy. I went with the AWE touring, it was 3inch, and has no drown, and the sound is great. I don't understand what the issue with slip fit connections. This is a Nissan Z not a GTR, or Porsche GT3, slip on clamp styles exhausts suit this car fine. I had zero issues installed my AWE touring, and the tips are perfect, I have adjusted them a couple time, to get the fitment just right with the bumper, and they have never moved, and I get compliments all the time on the look and sound. Plus, the price on the AWE is great, and they have a great warranty.
