Delay radio on/off

Does everyone's radio turn off immediately when you turn the car off? My Rogue and all the other NIssan models will stay on until the door opens. DIdn't know if its a setting or just the way it is? Me nor the techs / salesman can figure it out. I have a sport / manual.

Curious about this too (I don't have a Z yet). My 2012 G37S turns off with the ignition (), but my wife's Audi turns off when you open the door (). Hoping for the later.
