Twins! Yeah getting the stock knob to loosen up was ridiculous for me as well.

That was the case all along. My 350Z was glued the same way.

Sooo, I don't have an MT to confirm but one of our Aussie friends reported something that may be useful. There is a cap on top with a set screw that may be helping hold it on as well as the locktite. Id love for someone to find this info and see if it help remove it at all.
