And the answer is - it depends on application. Winter, summer, track, highway, twisties.
Max pressure for the stock tires is 51 psi.
The door jam is nissan‘s recommendation for some blend of performance, safety & milage .
But if you were going on a long trip, maybe you crank the pressures up for better milage.
going to the drag strip maybe 15psi for the rears is a better option…
for “normal“ street 35 psi would be perfectly find. For spirited driving the door jam would be a good starting point.
with that said, i follow the door jam recommendations and i use a calibrated tire gage +/-0.5%.
