And the answer is - it depends on application. Winter, summer, track, highway, twisties.

Max pressure for the stock tires is 51 psi.

The door jam is nissan‘s recommendation for some blend of performance, safety & milage .

But if you were going on a long trip, maybe you crank the pressures up for better milage.

going to the drag strip maybe 15psi for the rears is a better option…

for “normal“ street 35 psi would be perfectly find. For spirited driving the door jam would be a good starting point.

with that said, i follow the door jam recommendations and i use a calibrated tire gage +/-0.5%.

35psi cold on the stock wheels and tires might be a bit rough on the ride quality for normal driving especially the rear tires being 35 profile. Very little shock absorption. After some time of normal driving 35psi will turn into 38psi. For reference I set 35psi on my Murano which has 265/60R/18 tires. They reach 38psi after driving about 15min.

I hate to say it, but don’t trust a lot of dealers. I have had services done and when I got home checked oil and other fluids and they were too high or low. Here’s another example took my Z to get a service including a tire rotation. I drove to my son’s house and he told me something was off we looked again and they had put the front tires in the back. I normally check oil tires etc before I leave the premises, but I was in a hurry. I learned my lesson once again always check your vehicle before you leave so they can’t deny it. The point of my story is just because the dealer said it doesn’t mean it’s right and I normally go with what’s in the owners manual or door jamb tire information sticker.
I think without question, almost every single time I've picked my car up from the dealer the tire pressures are set to 35 all around.

What's more baffling, is that I leave my instrument cluster on sport mode with the TPMS monitor on display, so they look right at it. I guess they just overlook, or don't look. The instrument cluster says 32 front, 29 rear.

Its also surprising to me that even with 29psi in the rear those S007's are still as thoroughly bad as they are. Someone could catch a cold before those tires catch traction.

I do this too. It doesn't change quickly (one hopes), and it's nice to be able to glance at it to know all is good. I usually switch between this and the G Force meter.

My wife's car has a similar display, but you have to dig through the menus to find it, and then it's transient. It stays on the dash for a few seconds and is gone. What's worse, it shows PSI to the tenths, which takes too much brainpower (at least with my addled brain) to decode while driving.

The tire pressure gauge is something Nissan got right: easy to find, persistent, quick to read.

I wasted no time dumping those tires. I went with Continentals Contacts and it’s night and day glad I did it!

Yeah those are on my list for the replacements. There's nothing preventing me from picking up a set, but I guess I'm waiting for the S007's to wear out.

Edit: speaking of which, I should probably check my tread.

If you can, don't wait. Micheli Pilots work very nicely. 35PSI all around. Or whatever you want. LOL

I'll likely wait for them to wear out. They're annoying and arguably hot trash, but I'd rather get what little value out of them that I can. If I were actively autocrossing right now they would have been gone last year.

I gave the 007s to my neice and warned her that they suck. I hadn't even reached 2500 miles on them. I am still working on breaking in the Continental Contact Sports SRS+ in OEM size.
I am happy so far ...
