Avoiding being obnoxious was my 1st goal because I have a HOA to think of.... So for specs: I needed an exhaust with a X pipe I could swap out that was wasn't too expensive. I went with AWE "touring" because the more extreme version was "maybe" too loud. The touring adds mufflers. My car was...

Last week I finally got my exhaust installed. I went with AMS LDPs and the 3 inch AWE touring cat back and replaced the X pipe with the Z pipe... It sounds good, deeper and more mellow but I think the 3 inch piping makes the Z Pipe less effective (audibly) until redline. Still worth all the...
Nick? do you mean "Nismo Nick" from AZ? I hope not that guy has had some bad luck vandalism. I love his car. 1st and only Nismo I've rode in. It was like 650HP or 7 million HP. I hope whatever Nick this is he is in great spirits! Think i gotta call my guy now.
the car will run fine on lower grades (such as 91 vs 93) this thread is about not using "the cheaper stuff". by using cheap gas with bad detergents that you get from shady places, will give your car a tummy ache. At a baseline used the highest grade available to you. if you love your car find...
SAME! I'm also in AZ and ONLY use Chevron, if forced to use something else, I'd look for a Shell or Mobil... our cars call for 93. since im stuck with 91 CHEVRON!
That shine would have had to be added back in Feb. before shipping. My wheels came pre-monted without any coating on the wheels... Hopefully nothing on the tires
Toyota gave a GR86 to a journalist to test drive and forgot to remove the 'shipping" springs on the suspension. The tester drive the car with clamps holding the springs on all four corners. Bad review, but Toyota admitted the mistake. Don't think Nissan is above this kinda error too
I would say this is very consistent with the overall groups knowledge. If you change "air flow" in or out... Keep in mind you, you might need a tune.... "I've been running mine for thousands of miles without a tune' to 'I blew my engine." Lol Sounds bout right
Early October is boost weather round here... When the breeze comes back so will your turbos lol
Early October is boost weather round here... When the breeze comes back so will your turbos lol... Heat exchanger hopefully it's his solution
I'm mostly stock besides a lot of suspension parts. I plan to do The usual heat exchanger, intakes and exhaust (light tune) for street driving... What oil are folks running around here? Is there a default drivers switch to for our HOT weather conditions?
I added fresh tap water to one... No change! I would be ok with additional colors if they were more pronounced, maybe a bit brighter lol guess I'll be scrubbing this weekend
