Looks amazing...Last week I finally got my exhaust installed. I went with AMS LDPs and the 3 inch AWE touring cat back and replaced the X pipe with the Z pipe... It sounds good, deeper and more mellow but I think the 3 inch piping makes the Z Pipe less effective (audibly) until redline. Still worth all the money spent because it comes with a keychain.
Avoiding being obnoxious was my 1st goal because I have a HOA to think of.... So for specs: I needed an exhaust with a X pipe I could swap out that was wasn't too expensive. I went with AWE "touring" because the more extreme version was "maybe" too loud. The touring adds mufflers. My car was stock for the first two years, now I feel like it's loud outside the cabin. It's not! Vs a Mustang or Camaro my lil Z car is very tame. The Z pipe makes a small tone change at the top of 2nd and almost at the top of 3rd. Between you and me, not worth the money but Im glad I did it. A LDP is not needed but completes my 3 inch set up. this was the last of my "add power parts" before the tune. My mindset was "why only do some of the exhaust?" knowing that any additional updates will require another tune... I say all that to say this: if I had a 2nd chance, I'd do it the same again but it's hard to recommend to another Z owner because you get so little in return sound wise.
