I have had the same Z mechanic for over 15 years. I gave time my twin Turbo 370Z when I bought th 2024 Z. I let him choose what he thinks is best of the car.
Not going over my head. I heard what you said but it will not affect what cars I drive or how I drive or how I modify them. I have been driving for 62 years, not changing now. I havenever owned a car I did not modify one way or another. Either for Go or for show or stopping.
With my brand new Z...
If there was a transmission like I had on my 370Z that would fit a 2024 Z, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I have repllaced the Clutch (Now a NISMO Clutch) and the Transmission (got messed up when installing NISMO Clutch). Replaced some springs in the gearshift but still sucks.
I drive at 60-80 on the street. faster on a track. Conditions of road surface is different. Turns are different. I don;t slow to 20 on a track for a turn. Highway 95 is nor like Lime Rock Conn.
Using on ramp as an example, a simple example. They make the care feel better with spirited driving. In my case the kind that gets me speeding tickets but I have ben stealthly for the past 19 years. I look at speed limits for curves as suggestions.,
Changing the Sway bars to Stillen changed something as simple as entering a highway.. Much less lean. I'm 80 and have been driving Sports cars for 62 years. Last 5 cars in order are 2024 Z Performance, 2009 370Z (Twin Turbo), 1991/93 300 ZX Twin Turbo (tuned), 83 280 ZXTurbo.
