Thanks for posting my list of future mods!! LOL Seriously this is like 90% of what I want to do to my car. I have a few things on your list and am headed for more as $ becomes available. What suspension item made the best bang for the buck improvement? I’m springing for the oil pan next Wednesday.

My mechanic, who I gave a 470RWHP 370Z Twin Turbo to, said to just do the sway bars. I don't track the car and the sway bars gave just what I needed to be Dan Guerney on the highways.

Here's what 446whp/477wtq looks like tuned on 93:

  • K&N intakes
  • Mishimoto intercoolers
  • Mishimoto heat exchanger
  • B6A resonated catless lower downpipes
  • AWE Touring catback
  • ECUTek tuned by RaceBox
  • Stillen swaybars
  • Z1 chassis braces
  • Dorman aluminum oil pan
  • Enlarged oil cooler ducts
  • Redline drivetrain fluids
  • Redline WaterWetter

Next up for me is better tires and 2-piece brake rotors.

SFC Retired. Armor with a couple yrs DS at Jackson. Good to meet you! What was your MOS? Where’d you serve? PM me, I always enjoy hearing from soldiers!

I was at Riley, Jackson, Stewart, Korea couple different times in Casey, and a couple stints at Lewis, I retired out of there in 2005. I think Lewis was my favorite duty station, it’s beautiful out there

Katum68, I’m going with the aluminum oil pan next week and Nismo sway bars after that. I love the “Dan Gurney on the highways”! That’s what I’m looking for! LOL

Kacka, any reason you went with Stillen sways over Nismo or the Mishimoto pieces over Nismo?

My attraction to Nismo is that it was designed for the Z by Nissan, less chances for “side effects” so to speak. Not lookin to build a Fismo, it’s more of a compatibility thing.

be careful of the Sway bars, They were breaking but maybe NISSAN has fixed the problem. "Mishimoto pieces over Nismo". What Mishimoto?
