Seriously, get hearing aids. They'll change your life and it is a safety issue if you can't hear. Your family and friends will thank you - Hu? What? Hu?
You're right. They are on order.

Anyone install/have this? Reminds me of the Velossa big mouth, but can't really tell from the photos.

I know it's purpose is to draw in cooler air when moving, so I like that idea.

My intakes are stock. I've installed a czp heatX, so when I had the bumper off, you can clearly see the fresh air inlet on the Z is partially blocked by coolant lines (aluminum lines and hoses), so it seem like a tight fit.

Sounds? What sound?
You can hear the turbos hiss when spooling and the blowoff between gears. I've got the NISMO kit which is closed (actually "cold air intake") but have removable covers. I left the covers off to hear the difference, and haven't put them back on because it sounds so good, even daily/unspirited driving. Intakes like the B6A with no enclosure around the filters sound even better (turbos and blowoff are louder).

I regret buying the Nismo air intakes, the B6A look cooler, come in a 3" version with an insert, and sound better.

The B6A kit is basically the NISMO without the brackets and boxes. Remove the brackets and boxes, remount the filters to the MAF tubes and WHAMMO!…B6A setup. Although the B6A has the extra inverted cone filter in the cap. From personal experience you do typically get more intake noise from filters with that added inverted cone.

…and then you can sell your NISMO boxes. There are people that would buy a fresh dog turd if it had a NISMO logo on it.

Well guys, thanks for the insight. Got them installed yesterday. Install really wasn't bad. Just some patience needed on that passenger side turbo clamp screw! Super happy and much more fun to drive with all the turbo sounds! Cheers!
