Isn't it supposed to go in the fold out holder behind the passenger seat?
LOL... is that specifically for the manual? I wanted to put other stuff in there, but that makes sense. Duh.

I guess I kinda assumed, because you're right, it doesn't really fit in the glovebox. I think the manual calls it the "Document Holder" or something like that. It would be nice to have that space for other stuff, although it won't fit a full size "Document".

The Mustang had a dedicated manual holder above the main part of the glovebox, which was nice.

I guess these days we're lucky to get a printed manual at all, not just a QR code to scan.

I put mine in there with a little piece of foam to prevent the manual sliding left and right when cornering.

I installed a Fortin remote start on my Q60.
It was almost all plug and play, I think only 2 wires had to be spliced.
Easiest remote start I have ever installed
Doesn't like like it's available for the Z.

No regrets here. She’s not my daily though. I smile every time I drive her though.
Actually the only regret I have is paying a little more than msrp last year.

After a couple of years of watching and waiting, I finally got a chance to test drive a Z. I am close to going out of state to purchase one, as the local dealer was not honest about pricing. I found one with nearly $7k in discounts for end of year clearance, which puts the performance model at the price point I feel it should have been all along. My question is, does anyone regret buying the Z? I have owned many BMW's, but hate their current offerings. I have a 16 Camaro SS currently that I will keep, and a 22 Mustang Ecoboost I would trade in. This would be my daily driver. Just wanted some feedback from current owners before I make the commitment.
Thanks for the help.
Most comments have something in common. The Z would put a smile and make you happy when you drive it. I test drove both the Z and the Mustang. I believe choosing the Z was the correct choice. Mine is a black performance. I try to keep it clean as much as possible.
I hope I will keep it for as long as I live and will leave it for my kids to fight over it 🤣

I have a long history with Z’s, going all the way back to 1970 (240Z) and most recently to two 370Z’s since 2011. My 2024 AT Performance Z is the best one yet. It has exceeded my expectations…zero regrets.
Aah, good history, must be some minor regrets gripes to share at least??

DD'ing since Sept 2023 and it's my 2nd Z. Other was a 2003 Z that disintegrated tires and felt like being in a washing machine.

The new Z is much more of a daily driver to me. I hated it's so quiet stock, the noise dampening made me go nuts. I turned the ASC and ASE off (fake noise.)

My wife bought the 2024 Mustang GT a couple months later, was 10k more than the Z. I can't say it was a better car, but it felt much more feature rich. I'd prefer the Z for just about any mission.

The biggest complaint is visibility. I'm 5'11" and my head barely fits. The rear view mirror really occludes your 1 o'clock vision and it's gotten me honked at a couple times. 270 degree off ramps also suck because of that pesky mirror.

My top cabin lights don't come on half the time.. if I bonk it they'll turn on occasionally.

The steering isn't some drive by wire nonsense.. sucks on wonky roads but I still prefer it.

If I had my 50k back.. I don't think I'd buy this car again.
