I have that exhaust coming tomorrow. How do you like it?Thanks for that info! The Nismo is around 16 psi so I think I'll stay away from Map 7. I think Map 5 is better for me especially with the upgraded intake and Stillen Comp exhaust.

Has anyone ran a dyno test prior to the Tru Control install, and then after? From what I have heard, you tell Stillen what mods you have and they adjust the maps accordingly, is this true?
Is there a possibility of making map 1 a valet mode...or I am going to teach my kids to drive stick mode?![]()
Stillen says 70 bhp and 86 wtq, depending on altitude and fuel. Because they're in California, they ran these numbers using 91 octane, so expect a few more houses from 93.There's a guy who did on Youtube but he used map 4 or 5 and only gained 21whp/38wtq at peak. However the gains in the mid range was 30-40 whp from 3k-5k rpms. Don't expect 70 whp gains at peak in map 7, at best it will be 55 - 70 whp in the mid range. I will eventually dyno my Nismo with B6A intake and Stillen exhaust as stock, then map 5 and 7 to see the gradual differences.
Maybe. But wouldn't stock hp be up running 93?Stillen says 70 bhp and 86 wtq, depending on altitude and fuel. Because they're in California, they ran these numbers using 91 octane, so expect a few more houses from 93.
Did you get your exhaust installed yet? I've got the Stillen comp and it sounds great! Only problem I have is it drones in the higher gears at low rpms and produces a rattling on the right side of my dash, but that may be a different issue.I have that exhaust coming tomorrow. How do you like it?
No, I can read just fine thank you. For clarity I never said that they tested on 93.I guess you can't read very well. Stillen says 70 horsepower on 91 octane and I'm telling you they never tested it on 93
I've noticed most dyno operators seem to start around that range. Is starting a pull at 3000 (or 2950) normal?
Not like Iām keeping track, but arenāt they usually 1500-2000?
Maybe it doesnāt make a difference, idk.
It's done to spool the turbos quickly and strain the engine less while loaded on the dyno.Is starting a pull at 3000 (or 2950) normal?

Here it is! Soon hopefully!Did you get your exhaust installed yet? I've got the Stillen comp and it sounds great! Only problem I have is it drones in the higher gears at low rpms and produces a rattling on the right side of my dash, but that may be a different issue.
But the sound is fantastic for the price. Also check the clamps after installing from time to time they have been known to get loose.
Damn so Will left us?
