Ultimately for a daily or strictly street driven car sway bars are effective, while coilovers are superior is roll & pitch I see it as more for full adjustability/ track use
I'm now on Swift Spec-R springs and the Stillen bars, still very much acceptable on streets, firmer cornering but compliant on road surfaces, those springs are not overly stiff. That's exactly where I'm at...bought some lower springs but opted to not install them for a few reasons, but with the Stillen swaybars and Z1 chassis braces, I'm loving the overall dialed-in balance of the suspension & chassis now! Both Stillen & Eibach bars seem to be very well suited for street cars.
I chose a more Track/ canyon carving setup. So the car very much follows the and you feel every road imperfection. But… this was my choice working with Annex for over a month. If you told them you want the best handling possible while still being comfortable on the street then they can accommodate that request no problem. The description he gave me based on my selection was for a “car guy” that is okay with a stiff ride, I’m right at the border of streetable while non car enthusiast passengers will probably complain and ask why it’s such a rough ride. I also have the ability to drop by a couple kg/ mm to make it more compliant over uneven surfaces when I choose. I went with a full custom setup. Their proprietary race piston and custom valving with upgraded Amsoil and Hypercoils. ( you can choose hypercoil or swift). I have helper springs as well. Cost was just under 3k. If you choose a purely street setup it will be quite a bit less. I will say this though. My Z is the most composed and planted car I’ve ever driven. How is your road composure? What was the cost?
I agree coilovers is an answer for some people's end goal.

Example: on my way home I have a tight right hand corner that has two man hole covers right at the apex of the turn but on the outside tire. With factory suspension any time I pushed the car a little in the corner the chassis would become excessively upset. The car would be unpredictable and it would cause this diagonal pogo effect. After Annex was installed, I can throw the car into the corner aggressively and the suspension soaks it up and the car stays planted. Full control is maintained and no upset chassis. This is the fancy piston at work. Made to soak up curbing at a track. It’s like magic.
I talked to quite a few companies and no one was as patient and engaging as Annex.

Ask for Wil. Tell him that Jared from your forum sent you his way that they did a custom setup for the new Z for me. Just explain to him what you are after. He’s a cool dude. Down to earth and a true car guy. Not just a guy trying to sell you something.
Absolutely. I saw an episode of Savage Geese. They compared two of the same cars. One was with a full Motorsport coilover kit for the track. The other was Annex and they were told to make it a street compliant/ track day. The difference was minimal and I’m sure if Annex was told “full Motorsport” then it would have been apples to apples. It impressed me how good annex was on the track for a street setup. Then when I called them it sealed the deal. Great company to deal with. I reached out to multiple companies and was treated like they didn’t need me as a customer. I was met with people that couldn’t even answer technical questions. Annex treats each customer like a seperate important endeavor. (Unless you just make the purchase on line and choose their stock option). For the Z they don’t have that option so if you are interested give Wil a call and I’m positive you will be taken well care of. (I’m not getting anything from this endorsement, they just impressed me)This is how good business relations are forged.
who makes them@rpsjj since you have a Perf, not a Nismo, those bars were aftermarket Nismo, which we know are NOT the same as OEM Nismo bars on the Nismo Zs. They are well known to break, search these forums. I can't vouch for the Z1 bars how strong they are.
Not sure actually, others here might chime in.who makes them
