Realistically, 285 is probably the limit on the stock performance rims, I am not sure I would go 295 personally on the stock wheels.Anyone have any issues going from a 275 rear to a 295 rear on a stock performance model? Any traction control issues? Speedo off at all? Fitment issues?
The ride height difference is how much higher or lower the car will sit; the distance between the center of the axle and the ground. +12mm ride height means the overall tire will be 24mm taller than, in this case, the OEM tire. So you'd get +12mm of height diff between the axle and ground, and +12mm between the axle and top of the tire under the fender. Is the fitment concern the ride height?
OK, thanks for breaking that down. Makes sense. I plan on leaving the front alone, just looking for a bit better traction. And it will look a bit more agressive IMO.The ride height difference is how much higher or lower the car will sit; the distance between the center of the axle and the ground. +12mm ride height means the overall tire will be 24mm taller than, in this case, the OEM tire. This affect (going bigger) isn't huge on the rear, but can cause problems on the front as there typically isn't a ton of extra room for the tire when the wheel is turned and the suspension compresses. Front stuff isn't the topic of this thread, so I'll leave that one alone.
