Wheel spacers

Hello guys, does anyone know if I can run 25mm wheel spacers on my Z with stock rife height? I like the look of the wheels poking out slightly. Just wondering if there will be rubbing issues. From what I’ve read most people run the 20mm with stock ride height. I might lower the car later and would like to have the 25mm on just incase I do. However if I don’t lower it I would leave the 25mm on there just for a wider stance. Thanks

I have 25mm front and back. They are branded Akata. Tires do poke out a bit. I bought the front and rear splash guards to try to compensate a bit. The body line around the front tires is such that I think you see a bit too much tire. All personal preference of course but if I were ordering again I would keep the rear 25 mm spacers but go with 20 mm for the front.

I have had 25 mm rear and 20 mm front on my 24 Sport Z for 11 months with stock ride height and there have been no rubbing issues whatsoever. I like running thru the canyons "spiritedly" and have not had any issues, I check Torque on the spacers every 6 months and haven't had trouble with loosening.

Get good Hub centric spacers, I went with Mishimoto. You don't need to pay $500 for the Borla spacers but I wouldn't go with the $65 Ebay specials either.

nope, they have their own studs and bolt on to the wheel studs.

I went with 15mm front and 20mm rear and it’s perfect. I don’t want any poke just a bit more flush, with RSR springs. Car looks perfect. I did the studs and slip ons, which I prefer over the bolt ons.

How was your car after lowering springs? Is there a lot of scraping speed bumps and driveways? I’m considering getting swift springs which lower the car about 1 inch. Just hesitant because the Z is already pretty low. However it would make the car look so much better.

No scrapping. I have the swift springs.

There’s an issue with 15mm spacers not allowing the rim to sit flush on the spacer. Search “15mm spacer issues” and you’ll be able to get the info you need
