I went middlin’ and put the covers back, but drilled and deburred what seemed like 1,800 holes in them though.

Nothing like paying a premium for a specific model of a car because there’s no need to modify anything.
Then modifying things.
And even when the modifications are the same brand as the car that you thought you’d never modify, you find a way to modify the modifications.

Oh well. Things could be worse. I could be posting on a Mustang, Charger or Challenger forum right now.

That's strange that its quieter. Just my Stillen Comp exhaust alone made my start ups ridiculously louder.

I was pleasantly surprised. My A/T muffler delete setup was basically straight pipes - no mufflers and no resonators.

i guess the awe resonators and mufflers are doing their job at idle. in theory they come alive at wot….

A rivnut (rivet nut) is a threaded insert installed with a special tool. It allows you to a bolt into a threaded blind rivet rather than through-bolting.

Took the Z in for an oil change and left with an Altima. That white on a 4 door with a CVT just hits different. I don’t know how else to explain it.

What really happened, is I asked the dealership to remove the gear shift knob so I can put on another one I kept from my 370Z. They snapped the gear shift shaft in two. Then, gave me this to drive while waiting for the new shaft to come in.

I was hoping to put up a picture with the new gear shift…but alas, nope. I got an Altima.
