Ah! It's actually the official Nissan part for the 300ZX, but it makes for a fitting tribute to the Z's heritage, just like the Z's tail lights design. Nice touch!

Out with the Z earlier, on a picture perfect day in SE Texas. Now it’s concluding, with a beautiful twilight, with the clouds looking like pink cotton candy. :)

I'll follow up with my Z, alone in the parking lot at 3:30am, chilling before work lol

I can say, there's minimal traffic at 3am haha

Nice! One of my favorite colors on the Z.

I'm out fairly early this morning in the Z. Thanks to the recent change in time, as in "Spring forward," it's still dark. A little traffic in my area but not much, since I'm not battling rush hour traffic into Houston. Just staying local in suburbia. One of my favorite times to drive, since I can enjoy the Z, without having to worry as much about the local "road warriors" trying to play demolition derby. :)

This is where I am right now. Just installed RS-R Down springs, that is as low as I need to go with a half mile of limerock road down to my house from the paved road. 20mm spacers all around make the recolored Performance Rays look right. Next will probably be some resonated LDPs and possibly a decent catback, we'll see.

So I got a great deal on a Stillen TruControl unit and decided to try it out. I like everything about it except ONE MAJOR POS thing that is not Stillens fault.

Map4 felt nice and smooth like a bigger motor
Map5 the same but slightly more potent without some crazy spike in torque that falls off

I haven’t tried the other maps because I prefer to start in the medium range plus I have a B6A intake system paired with a Stillen Comp exhaust.

I was able to route the unit inside of the brake compartment by lifting one tab that releases the brake compartment upper body.

Now onto the POS!!! I hate the app with everything in me. I got it to work day one but after that it kept having connectivity issues and refused to pair. If the Stillen unit didn’t have physical buttons I would give the unit a 2/10 but because it has that option I give it a 8.5/10 because I don’t mind doing the extra work. Now if the app was flawless I’d give it a 10/10
