Finally got my miata seats reupholstered, and a seat lowering bracket came in the mail at the same time.

In a miata, the bracket drops the butt, but raises the forward thigh area, which I couldn't stand. Chopped off the lowest support bar of the seat itself, and modified the bracket to attach at another location. I now have a relatively flat seat! Maintained the thigh adjustment which does help on long road trips.

It's crazy how much difference an inch or so makes.

Well I went to work today. My buddy is an Engineer Conductor for Rail and I am a Bus Operator. He got his Z in Marxh 2024 and I grabbed mine in Jan 2025. They look good together .

On the other hand, that's one side of the car that wont get hit by another.

I've read stories of enthusiasts going out of their way to park alone or at the far end of the lot, then they still get rammed by an inattentive soccer mom. Unfortunately there's no logic to when and where Mr. Mayhem strikes.

Installed the Z1 carbon fiber radiator guard with Zspec’s hardware kit. I’m not a big CF guy but I think this looks awesome. Got this since I found someone fixing up a wrecked Z that wanted my stock one.

Thanks! Of course, now I need to swap out the engine cover to match although I like the Nismo one more than the Z1.
