I took mine to get the quarterly 'check up' on the ceramic coating, best investment ever! They go over the entire car and hand wash it with microfiber cloths. Of course, on the way home, every bug on earth took aim at my windshield ...

I had mine bobble a little going fast in a curve and I didn't like it. I guess I really need to get those anti-sway bars...

Today I installed a Nismo Street cat back exhaust on my Sport 6 MT. The stock exhaust was about silent, turn on the radio and I had to look at the Tach to shift. The Nismo exhaust driving thru town 25-45 mph is loud enough to give feedback for shifting and it sounds nice. It’s a lot louder when you get on it but it’s not get pulled over loud. My wife took it for a test drive and I could hear her jump into it 2 blocks away. I’m not sure if it’s got extra power, she’s not back from the test drive yet 😂

Another roadtrip completed, and the trunk space expansion continues to be awesome.

Am testing out ND Miata seats on extended drives. These look crusty because I am awaiting replacement upholstery. Seating position is a little high with the plate I'm bolting to, but lack of thigh bolsters is much more comfortable. Even if I can't lower the setup, the trade off might be worth it. The thigh raise dial improves comfort after the first few hours in the car.

Three reasons I chose Miata seats:
1. I find them to be strangely comfortable.
2. I wanted to retain side airbags.
3. There's not a lot of cars smaller than a Z with narrow seats that will fit.

I bought a set of wire harnesses for an Altima seat. The airbag and belt connectors spliced directly to the Miata cabling with ease. Waiting on an occupancy sensor emulator to have the airbag "always on" for the passenger.

Miata has headrest speakers and seat warmer circuits I opted to ignore for now. There was an option to get cooled upholstery from Katskinz but it's a pricey feature. The A/C in the Z works almost too well now that I have tinted windows.

Just installed the Vantrue N5S 4 ch. Dashcam today. 360° viewing also bought the 4G LTE Vantrue module for cloud storage and direct cellular connection to communicate and alert in real time any happening around my Z to my cell phone . Definitely need living in a big city.

Just got the full Tomei exhaust installed, so far sounds good. Tame while cruising, noticeable noises when I accelerate, and no rasp. Not as loud as I thought it would be. Definitely looks better than stock and fills out the bumper nicely. 10/10 will try again.

Congrats fellow Tomei brother!
Did you get the full cat back? With the mid pipe

That is my setup and it's a symphony!

Thank you so much brother! Yes, I got the full cat back! Did you have any issues with fitment? I noticed my passenger side sticks out maybe a 1/4 inch more. I have an appointment scheduled to see if it can be adjusted for better fitment, but I do love the way it sounds.

Amazing, love the full Tomei (USA for those who know!) CBE setup.

No issues with fitment
I had it installed with a known performance garage.
Absolutely perfect and symmetrical.

No issues, misalignments as of yet, with ~9500kms / ~5900miles.

Stock ride height, I did have the scrap a little once or twice; hurt the soul, but totally intact overall.

Made it to CMP with the car still on the trailer and made a few Z friends. Also saw a GTD in person. I must have managed to get the worlds worst photo of it but they look absolutely insane in person. I really enjoyed the track. Has a very nice flow to it but I was getting some fuel starvation at the end of one session with over half a tank still 😕

Finally drove my Z for the first time in 5 weeks. i really am in love with that thing! My body decided it had 15cm (6”) of small intestine it didn’t want anymore. 25 staples, gnarly scar in process, and lost 42 lbs. Not my choice of diet plans, but it was effective. Still have extended studs, spacers and Z1 under tray gathering dust. Hopefully health will cooperate to allow installation soon.

Thankful for you all.
Take care of yourself.
And be kind to others, as you never know what they may be going through.
Also, because you have a Z and they probably don’t, so they already may be jealous and defensive. ;) 😝

man!! Sounds rough. I’m glad you are doing better and were able to get out and go for a drive. I bet that felt good. You are so right. We never know what others are going through. My business partner and I have switched it up while driving and someone is driving like a jerk. Instead of letting them upset us we just say, “that guy really has to poop!” That keeps us calm and makes us laugh but it’s more of a code for “we never know what someone is going through that may be causing them to drive like that.” Soon you will be adding your new goodies and making your Z even more jealous worthy!

Sorry to hear this but thankfully you're on the mend!

I had double vision hit me Thursday last week so my Z has been sitting in the garage not being touched. I sure miss driving it! I've had an MRI done but I won't have the results for a couple of days. Hopefully I'll have some answers and a solution. I had double vision 2 years ago for 2 weeks with no answers, it went away by itself. But I also had vertigo for that 2 weeks and I can tell you that experience was pretty miserable.

Thank you.
Hopefully you get some direction on your situation soon. For me, took 2 weeks, 3 ER visits (ea w/ hospital stay) and my gastro (from his vacation) raising heck with the surgeon to do a robotic exploratory lap. 1/2” incision for a camera immediately turned into pushing the robot away, opening me up and going M.A.S.H 4077th on my innards. The surgeon’s quote re. my small intestine was “shredded tissue paper.”

Medical stuff can be a pain, but practically every time it will work its way to those that really know what they’re doing and put your personal care first.

Good luck!
