  1. Nissan Z Kaze T-Top Concept unveiled

My first car was my sister's red Mustang convertible. My car before the Z was a Volvo C70. If I didn't get the Z I would have looked for a CPO CLE 53 cabriolet. You can even run it in the winter... with the top down.
  2. Z Wave with other Owners on the road...

Some time ago I wrote about owning two-stroke SAABs in my youth and that was the first car I owned with a high beam stalk on the column. SAAB drivers would always flash each other. Like that final scene from Freaks... "One of us, one of us!" I haven't had the opportunity to acknowledge another...
  3. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

Got the lower down pipes in. Took four hours if I don't count a drive to Harbor Freight for a 1/2" impact joint. The Quick Jack's made it pretty painless but having a flexible lighted pickup tool to guide the sockets really helped. I included two sound files. First one is before. Second is...

This weekend's 'What didja do with yer Z' project!
  5. Prior owner stories, part deux

Hey, I luv my yellow Z! I think it saved my ass a couple times because it's so hard to miss and I'm guilty of DWO* in a hellishly fast car with blind spots. *Driving While Old
  6. Prior owner stories, part deux

Flipping the belly pan cover back is like Chistmas in July!
  7. 9AT Transmission fluid flush service

Found a really good video for the JATCO/MB 9AT transmission fluid change!
  8. 9AT Transmission fluid flush service

Alex at Racebox changing fluids on a 23 Z AT. This might already be up here somewhere; Transmission fluid change starts at 10:40
  9. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

Thanks... I just looked at what it costs to get front and rear adjustable camber kits from Z1 and it made me question the wisdom of lowering my car. I guess I could find a lesser costing source or just monitor for uneven tire wear for the summer. But I do need a project...
  10. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

Got my post lowering alignment. I could feel the difference on the ride home. The Z seemed to be more sensitive to steering input.. Could just be in my mind, too. As long as I don't ruin my tires it will be fine. On to the next project.
  11. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

I did get the bundle with wall hooks. I'll need to get a creeper, too, otherwise I'm still just crawlin' under the Z.
  12. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

After spending hours crawling around under my Z doing an oil change, installing sway bars and lowering springs I figured it's time to get a Quickjack. Yes, they are heavy! The tiny wheels do help but I had to drag the box off the grass to find out. Now I need a project...
  13. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

Thanks, I figure it will be worth the strain!
  14. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

Put the Eibach lowering springs on last Saturday and thought how nice a lift would have been... It looks like QuickJacks are on sale this weekend. Which one do most of you go with?
  15. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

Wow, what a nice space to work on your Z! It must be a pleasure to have such a clean bay. I think I'll go for the Quickjack the next time they run a sale.
  16. What did you do with your Z today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

On Monday I put the K&N cold air intake on the Z. Still has the stock automatic exhaust. Previously I had installed the JB4 tuner and pushed the stock tires past their limit in a couple of situations. Then I added Stillen sway bars... better... then the Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02s and...
  17. Offical Wild Z Sighting Thread

I was visiting a buddy in Chattanooga, and I kept asking him how far it was to Nashville so we could go to the Lane Motor Museum... There's a collection there I'd love to see. I bet you've seen it. My friend had a 10-year-old Datsun 2000 that he rebuilt when he was a kid, but I couldn't get him...
  18. Offical Wild Z Sighting Thread

I'm sorry. I know this might be off topic but this was the first GTR I have ever seen. I was driving and my wife took the pictures. I have no clue what it is by year or trim level, but I'm 70 and I've only seen pictures of them and I got excited!
