These are the Cat Back street series? I am shopping now ... I don't trust most of the shops where I am. I hate the ASE and will fix this weekend ... but I do love the growl it has now with the stock pipes.
Really great photos of the work being done! Thank you for sharing!
Yes, Street series and thanks, here is the finished product. Sound-wise, to me it's more noticeable inside, growl and some mild drone just above 2K rpm, but acceptable being an aftermarket. I wonder if turning off ASE will help. Outside clip so far just out of the shop.

Got the Z1 short shifter with those Z1 shift mount bushings and a Eight Ball knob. Holy cow arw the shifts SHORT and Hard. Getting used to it, zero play or grind ever. Really gotta shift with intention but feels like I imagine a race car does.
how many miles before you did bushings and did you do springs too? shifting always had room for improvement from day one

It’s T99L1-7LG0A. I paid 226 with free shipping. Side note - it’ll come with a little bag of clips and a wiring harness. You don’t use any of that.
Would you mind sending me the link you used to purchase? I can’t find that mirror at that price in my searches.

Well I went for a drive to run some errands and someone shot up a pebble of of the pavement and it hit just perfectly on the upper left edge of the windshield and put a nice ass crack on the glass, after what it seemed 45minutes of straight cursing, I went on with my day only to find out that the crack just spread almost all the way across from left to right, right in the middle of the windshield.
Which led me to how cheaply this car is really made. My STi has taken some straight shots in the chin with rocks hitting the glass and with the exception of maybe a small chip or pitting, that's it.
Oh well it is what it is!!! LoL

$400, took 3 hrs to install all. They were very careful, not a rush job
Looks good! Are those the recommended holes on the Stillen anti-sway bars? Middle on the front and outer on the rear? How does it handle now? I've got some coming.

I've got a few rounds of goodies coming for the Z over the next week or so! I ordered the blue Nismo side mirror covers, the Stillen TruControl module, and the popular Z front lip off Amazon.

Really happy to see a painted black option for a lip. Not a fan of carbon fiber personally. I'm not lowered nor do I have plans to so I hope it doesn't look out of place.

I've been eyeing the Alpharex headlights for a while as well but the quality seems sketchy for $1400. The install requires the whole bumper to come off as well so if there was an issue over time, it wouldn't be a fun process to take them out.

I could be wrong but this just seems like shit luck to me? I figured a windshield wasn't something they could cheap out on because it has standards set by NHTSA for thickness etc

Yep, set at middle hole front and outer rear, my baseline for now. It feels firmer on local roads, should be compared to stock. I’ll set it to firmest later at both ends and let you know, report back.

A rock cracking a windshield has absolutely nothing to do with the build quality of an automobile. Sucks that it happened. When you get it replaced, I would demand OE glass and not allow them to install generic glass. I used to work for an Auto Glass company back in the day so I saw a lot of replacement glass. Some of the cheap brands are not as nice. Some are made well and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference except for branding.
