2023 (build date Dec 2022, purchased Apr 2023 with 11 miles)What year is the Z?
i have the A/T muffler swap. mothers chrome polish - hand job. took a little work. i thought about using a dremel tool.Did you use a solution (Flitz, Semichrome, Brasso...Semichrome's my go-to)?
By hand or with mechanical help?
Reminded me...I happened to look down as I was walking behind my car yesterday and noticed the tips are more inset than I thought. More than they appear in your pic. Maybe my brain wasn't working right, or maybe the NISMO has a little less protrusion than the Perf. I need to check.
Because I've been unable to do anything remotely strenuous since late August my Z looks like I live in a pit mine. Still refuse to take it through a car wash though. Wife and daughter keep trying to talk me into letting them wash it, and I may take them up on it.
Lol - somehow i taught my wife how to wash and wax. She will detail her car - usually talks me into helping. she knows my car is off limits but she stands in as a “rinser” girl to help speed up the wash.Wife and daughter keep trying to talk me into letting them wash it, and I may take them up on it.
Car wash (touch brush) is like you taking a bath in a public tub bath after a 1000 people.i have the A/T muffler swap. mothers chrome polish - hand job. took a little work. i thought about using a dremel tool.
car wash is off limits.
My service advisor told me: If you get a coupon, throw it in your glovebox. Then it's always handy when you show up for an appointment.second oil change - 4,093 miles.
I planned to use a $69.99 coupon received in the mail but forgot it at home. Service advisor said they prefer to have it in hand for tracking, so I asked to go get the coupon after, to bring it back (more reason to drive). When it came time to pay, they honored an even lower price - $49.99 - from a coupon they "printed out." safe to say after 2300 miles it needed the oil change.
the same service advisor first saw the odometer and said "you know you're 1,000 miles before the first recommended service..." I told him it's my second oil change....
