Made a slight upgrade to the front brakes today. These are the 9668 calipers and still shockingly light.

"slight upgrade" hahaha. They look amazing!
I'm curious to hear how they perform, and hold up (the pad wear) compared to stock.

Are those rotors the Nismo sized rotors or the performance sized rotors? Looks fresh

372mm so somewhere inbetween! close to the Nismo 15" size though.
I just did some research and it looks like my Performance sized Paragon rotors are too small. But those calipers are out of my price range so silver living? 😅

Do you know if AP spec's replacement rotors for the NISMO? I found what appears to be the right disc, and I'm sure they have a hat with the right spacing, but I don't see that they've spec'd rotors for any model Z. Don't need them yet, but planning (dreaming) for the future.
Gotta love the J hook!

So I got the Stillen Competition exhaust installed on the Nismo!

The exhaust system for all 9AT automatics is freaking light. All 3 pieces added up to 35lbs!!! My Stillen was 38 lbs

Congrats, by the way!
Something about brakes, man. Everyone has something that they really dig. Shoes, wheels, Porsches, Instagram models...whatever. For me it's brakes. Not sure why. I just wish it was a more affordable infatuation. Feel like I'm confessing at an AA meeting. Whatever...it is what it is.

I just got all windows tinted with Autobahn Black Ceramic. They were super fast, and surprisingly, did a fantastic job for the speed.

All windows (incl. rear) - 15%
Front windshield - 50%

I currently drive a LX470 with 0% tint. That's a ***** to drive at night.

I am hoping 15% isn't too dark on the rear for sunny track days. I am not good enough imo to safely handle track days in the overcast rain yet so that's a smaller issue that I might tackle in the future.

Did the tint to celebrate 350 miles on the car!

Seen running topics like this on other car forums where people talk about what they did with their car and can add it to a thread like this.

Went out for a fun drive?
Met other interesting car people?
Mods?
Upgrades?

I'll start.

Like a few others here have done, added the "Fairlady Z" badging to my spoiler and removed the "Z" in the centerplate on the rear. Got it from thezstore.com it's OEM with a nissan sticker / part number. The blue foam around it really helped line it up right too.
