Trucontrol install

If anyone here has the Stillen Trucontrol installed in their Z, I would be real appreciative of knowing where you put it. Pictures would be fantastic. Thanks for any help.

Glad to help my man. I actually found this routing on here somewhere and copied it. I had it totally fucked up before lol. BTW this tune is probably the best money I've ever spent. You're gonna love it.

Mine arrives tomorrow. For mods I only have a CAI. Does it come with a base tune for basically stock like mine so it’s plug and play?

Yes and they give lifetime updates for mods. Call them and let them know you have cold air and give them the serial number of your trucontrol

It's not Nissan, it's everyone. If you want a pretty engine then time travel back to the 60's

I ran mine from the opposite side. With that placement I didn’t need to attach the controller to anything. After a week of extensive testing the controller hasn’t moved. It is sitting on a pair of “high tech” old socks to absorb vibrations. Theres no rubbing on the harness and uses one zip tie. My main concerns were protecting the controller unit and ease of removal if I needed to take it to the dealership.

I’m really pleased with the purchase. Best bang for the buck, Performance vs $, I’ve ever spent on a mod for one of my cars. It’s a push you back in the seat and make you grin type mod.

I agree, the computer records all. We don’t drive around with it in race mode all the time because of the possible turbo issues. However a Supra pulled along side and……it looked really cute in the rear view mirror!

I thought part of how it worked was that it "fooled" the computer (modified the signal) to think it has standard boost.
