This is in Houston, TX. Looks like he either sideswiped someone, or someone sideswiped him. Either way, probably totaled as it ran through multiple body panels. I don't know the full story, but I saw it as I drove past a Nissan dealership.

Houston is an absolute circus to drive in. Half the drivers don’t know the rules of the road and most of the rest don’t care. HPD is next to useless at enforcement. I honestly don’t know why they bother putting up speed limit signs, especially on the freeways, since they rarely seem to enforce them. I try to avoid most of the metro and the freeways. I can do ten miles over the posted limit and still have idiots blowing by at twenty mph or more faster, while weaving in and out of lanes. I’m not surprised to see a Z bite the dust here. Pray for me and my Z. :crying:

I travel across the country on occasion. I can easily tell when I’m back in Houston, where the roads are crap and the drivers even crappier. šŸ˜‰

Y'all think Texas has bad drivers?

Last I checked, Texas is like Arizona, to register your vehicle you need proof of insurance. When I lived in Arizona, if you let your insurance lapse, it'd be reported to the DMV and every cop would know that you didn't have insurance through DMV lookup.

Here in Washington, not only are the drivers bad, but there's no insurance enforcement at all. So, not only does your vehicle get crashed in to, but you get the pleasant "surprise" of that person being uninsured. And, cherry on top, cops do nothing about it.
