The stock Potenzas served me well this past year but I'm changing the wheels and looking for new tires. What is everyone's experience and feedback of your chosen tire brand? I've been looking at the Pilot 4S but if there's a cheaper option that will perform I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

Edit: should have mentioned the sizes I'm looking for.
Front: 265/40/18
Rear: 285/40/18

My go to street tire is the Yokahama V601, I put these on all my cars.

I've read yokohomas are good but wear out quickly. Loving the tire rack tho. My garage is shared and tiny, was built in the 1920s for carriage.

I put these on my Nismo at 3K mikes, the car now has 8K miles and the fronts are at %80 left, the rears are at %20 left :p. On my little Veloster N I got 12K out of the original Pirelli then swapped to the V601 and got 20K out of those, am replacing them wit the same V601 again this spring and new rears on the Nismo.

For the price I cant complain, they are very consistent in noise and grip and feel all the way through their entire life cycle. Bonus is they are 4lb lighter each than my OE Nismo tires. I have my own tire machine and balancer so its not a big deal for me to swap tires.

Just replaced the stocks with pilot 4S'.

And wowee. They are a million times better in the cold and wet. And still notably better when it's warmer(havent had many of these days but even the for nice days we've had they were great).

Just a HUGE upgrade all around. A great all year tire.

I’m currently running the 4S all-season and will move to the 4S in a few months.

Sorry yea i have the all season 4S. I thought the 4S was already just the name for the all season version.

But yea the all season 4S is a killer a tire. Straight up better than the stock summer tires as a summer tire. But not useless in the cold.

I'm thinking about keeping the stock wheels and putting all-seasons on them and good summer tires on the new wider wheels I'm eyeing.

Yeah, I'm almost certainly going with the Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 as soon as I decide I've had enough with the factory rubber which is so low-adhesion it feels as if the roads have been generously buttered.

Which is to say "soon."
