Hello,
I finally reached the break-in period and noticed that my Z is becoming very responsive. Cruising at 70 mls/hour at 2000 rpm when I push it a bit it jumps to 3000 rpm and reaches 85 mls/hour.
My question is, if I push it a bit more how am I going to drive it past 85 mls/hour on the freeway? Do I need to take it to the track to drive it past 3000 rpm?

Now that I passed the break-in period at 1,450 miles I would like to change the oil myself. However, my ramps won't work for my Z being so low in the front. Are there any quality low profile ramps that I can get?
Thanks for your help.

I use these ramps with a floor jack.

pick one of the many tracks near you…. How far are you from Willow Springs International Raceway? That should solve your problem.

Mostly in 2nd and 3rd gear ( 3rd and 4th on auto with paddle shifters ) you can go up to 6k - 7k rpm. But you’ll hit 90+ in seconds. keep an eye out for red/blue flashing lights in the rear view mirror. ;)

Far 2 hours away. It's a thought.
Thanks
I will be at Willow Springs with Speedventures on 11/1, takes me about 2 hrs also. If you're not familiar I can show you around the track, there are run groups from beginner to advanced. The beautifully repaved Streets of Willow (smaller track, focuses on handling with many turns) is great to loop around. Big Willow has not been remodeled yet, it's the faster open track. Hope to see you someday or soon at the track.

FYI my Z also just passed break-in, 1100 miles, now can rev it freely to redline, been varying engine speeds during break-in up to 4.5K rpm, one oil change at 600 miles done. Enjoy yours, open it up!

I purchased these from Amazon. Quit a bit cheaper and they seem to work well. I then used a jack for a little more height.
