Couple days ago my parking assist started activating and displaying when I stopped with nothing around me. When I pull into the garage it works as normal. I already made sure all my sensors were clean. As anyone else experienced this.

I see that commonly with all of my vehicles in rain or snow. In dry weather, however, my park assist behaves normally.

Yeah happens every once in a while with me. I would say once a month when coming to a stop light.

The 2023+ Z sensors are terrifying and not to be relied upon. Sad indictment of Nissan, but true. Don’t rely on that buggy junk

How so?

I use the amber lights by my side mirrors all the time to know if someone is next to me because the Z (and a lot of sports cars) are hard to see to the side and behind if another vehicle is there.

The parking assist does help when I am parking so I don't run into something with that long hood in front of me.

I have even had someone stop short in front of me once and the Z auto-braked so I didn't rear-end them. It was scary as hell and I was very happy to have that feature. I 100% would have a wrecked car if that feature was not there. Also very glad to know it works :D

Really the parking assist coming on at a stop light a few times isn't that big of a deal to me. The car thinks I am parking when I am not once in a while? Who cares, I can press a button on my wheel to turn it off as soon as I hear the beeping.

I don't know, the sensors have been helpful to me and remember, you can turn all that stuff off if you want to.

I’m in no way against the technology. I’ve been using it for at least 10 years. I’m against awful, incompetent implementation of the technology.

Every once in a while at a red light, I'll get a stray chirp from the parking sonars if I'm behind another car.

I had the same issue on my '24 Sport. Must've been ghosts walking in front of the Z 🤣

Ever since I had this recall done back in May. I havent had a false notifications. Or the ghosts stopped walking in front of my Z 😜

This had randomly been happening with mine as well, within the last month I want to say. It's not a constant issue, but very sporadic. I can be stopped in traffic and the parking sensor will go off very briefly.

The other thing that comes to mind is when I'm trying to turn right with my signal on in a specific area the blind spot monitor will flash on that side (no audio alert.) Makes me wonder.

I too have had some intermittent warnings from the Right Front (Passenger) parking sensor. It happens when in motion (even in the center lane) with no one nearby. The sensor was clean when I checked.

2025 Nismo, maybe driven 2K miles at this point. I’ll mention it to my dealer when I next go in- it could be a harness issue.

Mine chirps every once in a while in stopped traffic to remind me its standing by to help when I finally park. I don't mind.

It’s normal operation. Plus Z is ment to be driven not stopped. Probably the logic gets confused. ;)
