I'm out for now. My 370Z is about to be paid off so a new car would've been "nice to have" but $50K just doesn't make sense for me especially when costs are up everywhere and I already have a 2-door sports car.

Well in Canada it is $58 and change. Again, the 3.0L Supra is $72 CAD.

The 12 Zupra owners here 🤣
I was actually pulling for the Z to be at the Supra level regarding power and trim options at a much lower price. I would have ordered a Performance in a heartbeat if they offered it at $39.9K.

For reference I paid $49.9K for my non-Bosch locked fully loaded 2021 Supra Premium 3.0.

If this new Zee isn't an option then maybe picking up a used 2018 - 2021 | Q60 Sport is an option??

I'm seeing these anywhere from 25k up to 45k (or more) and these have a lot of luxury.
Maybe some research into how once the suspension (coil overs, sway bars) are upgraded.
Then for the engine a set of down pipes, exhaust and upgraded intercooler with a tune nets 500+ WHP.

Seems more than reasonable for a budget minded, street-able, daily driven 2 door coupe (with a back seat) that has all the creature comforts and 500 WHP. Or am I talking crazy here ?!?!?

I think it would benefit some to research this for viable option . . .

$1,295 for blue two tone paint on top of all this? What? Nissan is just gouging people at this point on emotions, that's all. They will have to slash the price of this thing after the emotional loyalists and vloggers get them.

Nearly $53K for this car with shipping and a decent color... And who knows what else is hidden at this point. Unreal.

Nissan is doing people dirty.

Q60s have a lack of stick, feel every bit of their weight, don't handle too hot at all, weak offsets out back mean you can only go so wide, that damned fun sucking/horribly out of date 7 spd auto is your only transmission option.

But are they sexy af? - Yep!
Are they roomy? - Sure are.

So even after upgrading the coil overs, front UCAs, rear camber & toe arms and adding sway bars it still feels like a wet sponge in the twisties ?
Bummer!!
I'm not opposed to a decent AT and not stuck on having the manual, But had no idea about the AT sucking the joy out of all that power!
Fitment Industries has a bunch of Q60s with wider wheel/tire combos with no rubbing so I guess the game is stuffing as much in there as you can (which is looking like 10") but is the same as I have on my current 07 350Z HR . . .

Thought I would check in again on this one. Just talked to my dealer owner who sits on the Nissan Advisory council for Canada and he just confirmed NO PRICING for Canada as of yet. Where did you get this?

I'm not too surprised on the Performance model price. $52k USD was my breaking point and it's just under. I am shocked how low the Sport model price is. A lot of value for that one. However, I wonder if it will be scarce like how the Base GR Supra 3.0 is. A year and a half ago I was on the hunt for a Base 3.0 Supra and they were no where to be found. All of them were Premiums or A91 editions.

The profit margin on the Sport may be so low that they may not make many of them. Allows them to gloat about offering a sub 40K Z but majority of Z's will be Performance models.
