I paid less than MSRP for the exact Z spec / color I wanted. Feel pretty darn fortunate and I plan on keeping it for a very long time. I have yet to see another one for sale (2024 Performance Rosewood) within 500 miles of where I live.
Interesting that he says Gun Metallic is the cheapest one to find. That is what the 1 owner 2023 Performance for sale near me is and it has dropped $10k in the past 5 months at the dealer.
Sadly in canada none of this applys![]()
No, no, no dude they’re in CRISIS!!!Looks like prices are finally normalizing to the current market. This is really good news for consumers.
Yup, all of us Year 1 people basically got hit with 20-30% depreciation(#1 in it's segment) and it's going to continue to get worse. I like the car enough to hold onto it. Thankfully I didn't get too hammered on markup so it doesn't sting as much, but boy seeing these for New for almost $46K sure does feel bad lol.Looks like prices are finally normalizing to the current market. But really bad for early buyers that paid over MSRP.

In this economy, everything is essentially overpriced. I am really feeling bad for the people out there that paid 15-20k above MSRP and are seeing videos like this.. Talk about a gut punch. I paid MSRP with cash about a year ago, and even I am feeling like an idiot seeing some of these go for 9k below MSRP now. Would have thought it would take a few more years for such a steep drop. This is exactly what I was waiting for from a potential buyer perspective. The hype train has long passed and people have finally come to the realization the car isn't worth the MSRP or more. A lot of low mileage, used Zs are popping up on the market. The last couple months I've been watching the prices of new or even slightly used Performance trim Zs going for $~45k or even less depending on mileage.
Been saying it since launch and I'll say it again; at MSRP of $53K+ the car is simply not worth it. Now put it in ball park of $45k and it's one hell of a bargain compared to the competition.
But hey that's just my 2 cents.![]()
I don't know. I don't feel bad for people who pay over MSRP just so they can say they are the first to have the shiny new thing or not having the foresight to know that paying THAT much over MSRP will look silly in a year or two. Same thing happens with other things too like video game systems. In this economy, everything is essentially overpriced. Not worth it to YOU, but opinions vary. While I’m unwilling to let a US car dealer make a fool of me (something they are traditionally good at) in no way do I feel bad about paying MSRP for this vehicle. I just wanted a new car. Getting a smokin’ deal was farther down the list of my purchasing goals. YMMV. I don’t know where the price cut off would have been for me but I was confident that I would know it when I saw it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I could get this car for MSRP from my local dealer without hassle. That was good enough for me.This is exactly what I was waiting for from a potential buyer perspective.
