My Beefs & Peeves with the New Z

The standard nissan caps are screaming for a Z logo like the one below.

Ordered the stripe kit today

Getting that side stripe custom made in white except it will say Nissan Z


Also tinting the windows, will post shots when everything is done.


PS. I may continue the white stripe all the way back, my graphic designer is sending me some pics tomorrow so I will decide then.

Oh snap cant wait to see pics of the side stripe! I feel like that could look really good on your blue car.

I thought of that but it breaks at the windshield so having it on the back window could look a bid odd or unbalanced.

PS Almost every plat with Z was gone, I tried dozens and dozens of combinations.

Z PLUS just kind of struck a chord with me, it just sounded nice.

Please keep us up to date on this! I wanted to order the stripes and the dealer was going to paint them on because it was too late to add (from the factory). I have currently passed on them (Financially), but I think I might still add them later (on Black Diamond Pearl).

The factory stripe kit is actually silver not white, there are no color options to order, it's a one size fits all so I am at a custom graphics shop on Friday and we will compare silver and white and I will decide what I want. We are going to custom make this to see if I can make it a bit nicer.

Also a side stripe, similar to the heritage version.

My current peeves...
---the owner's manual is written in Gibberish, not a real language. The NissanConnect manual is in anti-Gibberish, an un-anti-language.
---seatbacks don't have a manual release to tilt them forward and actually use the parcel shelves before getting in. Clearly not designed for a woman's purse.
---size of the glove box. Clearly designed by a man.
---analog tach is difficult to read and there's no digital RPM (I think).
---door handles are inferior to those of my 350Z.
---waiting on aftermarket parts.

You also cannot get to a lot of settings from the sport dash mode, you have to first switch to normal mode.

Me too. This has pushed me towards the normal dash. It's not like there isn't room, and it seems like it could be important for tire pressure or whatever, if you're tracking it.
