I've given other Z's a wave and flashed the lights with zero response or recognition. Some people are just oblivious.
Having said that a guy was giving me the thumbs up once (in a commodore no less) and by the time I released what was happening I was too slow to react. He probably thought I...
FYI these cheap LEDs make a great replacement for the crappy stock map lights. I believe they also fit the light in the boot aswell.

Does anyone have any real world experience with the Advan Neova AD09 tyres? A few of the JDM cars seem to be using them. PS4s seems to be a more popular choice in the US/AU but they don't seem popular in Japan.
I haven't noticed it at all on mine. The only issue I have is that the very first shift when leaving my driveway from 1st to 2nd slips a bit. It's especially noticeable in sport mode. But once it's warmed up there's no issue.
I also think it goes too quickly back to auto mode when in...
Defniitely haven't noticed any noise like that with my (auto) Proto. I would be constantly hounding your dealer constantly until they fix it and raise it with Nissan head office if necessary.
I don't mind the practicality aspect. My problem is I love the styling of the Z, I've already put a bit of money into it (exhaust, tune) and I'm not sure the Mustang will fit in my garage without substantially rearranging it!
But I'm pretty sure overall the Dark Horse will be a better car and...
I did see that a few people had their allocations confirmed a couple of weeks ago. My dealer called me around the same time but just to confirm the options to load into the system. I placed a deposit on the day it was announced and was 10th in line at my dealer (but 3rd in line for a manual)...
Were you able to recoup what you paid out of curiosity?
I also have a deposit down on a Dark Horse and not sure what I'm going to do if I get allocated one. It's almost certainly a better car than the Z in nearly every way (except styling) but there's something about the Z that connects with me.
Just turn the car off, lock it and leave it. They turn off automatically if set to auto (I think you can set how long they stay on in the settings) The lights stay on for a while so you can see your way in the dark.
If you're looking for someone to install I can recommend "That dashcam guy" who can be found on facebook. He's done a couple of installs for me (including the Z) and is super tidy. He also comes to your place.
