Michelin PS 4S - Worth It?

They are absolutely worth it. For my 2025 IS 500 (I no longer own an M2 Comp), I went from the stock 235/40 and 265/35 Bridgestone Potenza's to 245/40 and 275/35 Michelin PS4S tires. I also swapped the rubbish stock front LCA bushings for RC F bushings. You cannot imagine how much better this car is now.

Pilot Sport⁴ S
- Dry Grip, 10/10 - as good as it gets for a "Street Tire", these can do Canyon Duty.
- Wet Grip, 8/10 - As good as it gets for a Summer Tire.
- Noise, 5/10 (worse as they wear) - It's a performance tire, they are loud.
- Poise, 7/10 - Good stiff sidewalls, they do tend to tramline a bit however. They start getting sketch under 40 degrees (better as they warm)
- Wear, You're getting a good 10-15k mi out of these - tops

Pilot Sport 4 A/S
- Dry Grip, 8/10 - as good as it gets for an "All Season", these can do Canyon Duty but not as well.
- Wet Grip, 10/10 - As good as it gets.
- Noise, 5/10 (worse as they wear) - It's still a "performance" tire, they are loud.
- Poise, 8/10 - No real change here outside of they are not sketch under 40
- Wear, You're getting a good 15-20k mi out of these - tops

tl;dr
PS4S is the best street tire there is IMO
PS4A/S, You trade in 20% dry grip for 20% more wet grip and you can drive on them under 40 degrees
- I'd rock PS4A/S before I'd trust any other Performance Tire.

And the PSS5 (I wish they'd stick with a naming convention here) somehow improves on all of this.
