So how does the 9AT drive, really?

Never experienced the 9AT yet, but my 370Z is a 7AT and I will say it can be CLUNKY at times. I assume the 9AT is much better though.

But using the paddle shifters is very fun. I love paddle shifters.

It will get worked out. I kind of feel bad for the guy as he dropped everything to go up there for me and did 9 hours each way. it wasn't really his fault I dont think he had to travel 9 over some bad roads and I bet the tie down loosened just enough to shift the car over and push up against the inner metal wheel well of the trailer during a bump. When we opened the trailer it wasn't touching anything but you can tell it had shifted crooked

I guess I can ruin this thread with the ugliness of it. Im trying not to let it get me down as this day is like 2 years in the making. Good thing is it's only the side skirt and can't see it from far away. My worry is the parts won't be available.

I was pleasantly surprised that the part was available in 3 days. I just knew it was going to be a backorder nightmare

update on the sideskirt. body shop can get it in 3 days for $668. all in to paint and install is $1068 and they wont need my car overnight. so all in all not bad

Nice, I just hit a stone and got chip in the windshield luckily small enough to be filled in, I don't think I'd be as lucky with a windshield as you are with the sideskirt if it needed to be replaced.

my mom and dad got a brand new 2023 C8 vette last july. 200 miles in they got a rock chip that cracked down the middle. the windshield replacement for them was a disaster they had to wait forever and when the first one came in the shipping company scratched it. all in all it was a month
