Someone just had her on the scales. I'd say not bad.

That could literally be anything on the scale.

EDIT: nevermind, for some reason didn't see the post directly above mine.

83lbs difference. Fuel level could be a part of that for sure.

Its more than likely related to one or both of the scales not being properly calibrated for accuracy.

Two different scales will often provide wildly different readings. I'm sure that everyone recognizes that your home bathroom scale reads your bodyweight differently than the balance scale at your primary care clinic...

Were the two scales even measuring the same vehicle?

Having the same brand/model of scale in both tests would help, but even that can be affected by things like load cell/transducer accuracy. Even height above sea level affects weight, not by much, but it still does.

could be fuel, cause the rear weight distribution is only off by a % if even that

Curious what a Sport MT actually weighs, haven’t seen any postings. For baselines.

Can't be much difference.
Wheels, lack of spoiler, lighter manual seats....
Maybe the differential is much lighter....
But the rest of the car mostly the same.

I know most complaints about the weight probably wouldn't subside until the car was at least 150 pounds lighter.....

In my case, yes!

I was watching the reviews of the new Prius, and in a few reviews there were 2 heavy set dudes in the car. Some reviews did 0-60, and the Prius with one average dude did 7.0, and the Prius with two big dudes did 7.7.
Pretty much in the same place during the press release.
