I just got my Nismo intake and it had a pleasant surprise. Upon opening up the box, I saw the CARB EO sticker. I was a bit worried since I hadn’t seen it advertised as having gotten the CARB approval but figured it looks pretty factory. EO sticker puts that issue to rest. Can’t wait to put it on this weekend.

Recently installed mine…socket extensions and some long flatheads will be your friend. If not already in the toolbox highly recommend picking some up! Enjoy!

Figuring out those clamps was a real pain. I didn’t have two long flat head so ended up sticking an Allen key to hold open one side of the clamp so I could move my flat head to open the other side. Fortunately the car is still pretty new so the rubber hasn’t hardened much and the band clamps were still fresh.

What’s the benefit? Sound or performance? Has anyone dynoed before and after?

Interested in dyno results. Great to have CARB EO approval!

I mean its a range. NISMO put 11hp in the item description back in 2023 per their results ( its made by AMS by the way) and ive seen anywhere from 8-17hp in 3rd party testing
Thanks, looks like legit gains and worthy upgrade with tune. That along with Nismo suspension would button it down quite a bit

Intake looks good - looks just like the ams intake.

i would like to see the stock intake numbers with the filters pulled - the stock filters look more restrictive than standard paper filters.

Despite their look, the stock air box and filter are more than enough, the aftermarket just gives noises, otherwise it’s not as restrictive as thought.
