How to search for a Z

On Autotrader, Giles Nissan of Opelousas, LA is advertising a new 2024 black, auto Performance at $50,939 showing a $3576 dealer discount off the MSRP of $54,515. Stock#: TH58966 VIN: JN1BZ4BH7RM361355. Dealer's website says this car is intransit but lists it at MSRP without this discount.

Multiple dealers in NH have Z's in inventory, at or <MSRP, incl a Nismo. Nobody here buys sports cars in the middle of winter.

Car Edge is showing 695 new Zs at dealers now or intransit. The Nissan Vehicle Locator is showing the intransit dates out through mid Feb...so will we reach 1,000+ Zs sitting unsold/in transit around mid 2024???

Nissan dealerships still have 52,000 2023 Rogues sitting on their lots, slowly bleeding them in floorplan financing costs. It looks like some of the Florida Nissan dealers with huge amounts of Rogues are discounting some trims around 25% below MSRP to compete for any sales. Desperation setting in for a tough 2024 for dealers (across all brands), due to not enough buyers, market still correcting downward. For any of the Z trims, any reasonable buyer offer below MSRP should be accepted...despite what they'd like you to believe, they can't afford to let you walk away when they need buyers period, regardless if Z, Altima, Rogue or Titan.

Happy new year, everyone! Big influx of 190 new cars this week! Only 14 2023s remain. This is the last update for 2023. Sorry it's late. I was traveling yesterday, not in the Z ?.

Using the zip codes in this V2 area covered map here's a spreadsheet that shows the inventory within the circles (more or less):

apparently the numbers include everything but sold cars. so ordered by dealer / in production/ in transit/ at dealer

the numbers in quotation are for a category called 2024Z the other numbers are current Z production which is also 2024. so thats very confusing and i wasnt able to tell if the numbers in () are already included in the main totals or not so this hurts the accuracy a bit.

regardless you can still see an interesting breakdown of the model/transmission distribution among 2024s

Sport trim total is 330 ( assuming the numbers not in ( ) are the actual total of each transmission choice).
Performance is 1780.
Nismo is 725.
Total is 2835. A little more than 11% will be sport trim. at least if my quick math is correct

the format is confusing but the source I got the info from says the other categories should be added together as its just the way the system reads it out as different categories. I took that to mean 725+10 is 735 nismos in the pipeline for example

lets assume 2444 is the highest VIN in transit/inventory. so maybe 600 cars yet to be built?

again this isnt an exact science as we are missing some key info/explainers but its the best I got for now
