I will bet you guys a nice steak dinner that isnt real and its a generic % discount auto applied to their online ad when the car was listed.

that is under invoice. there isnt a reason why any dealer would sell a NISMO under MSRP at this point

$45,900 Used. 2023 Perf trim, white with red interior, auto, 12K miles being sold by Childre Nissan in GA listed at $45,900.
This dealer has recognized they can't sell it as Certified because that would push the price closer to $49K and it won't sell at that price in this downward market now.
The dealers' favorite buzzword from past few years "market based pricing" can now be used against them...market in freefall while some dealers still showing poker face with advertised pricing clinging to past, fishing for that 1 fish in the pond but nobody is biting.
New 2024's advertsed below MSRP are sitting collecting dust...IMO anyone trying to resell a certified/used 2023 at this point is basically a bag holder..."used" Proto Spec with just 32 miles on the ODO can't sell at S&L Motors WI even at $51,925...maybe offer $48K if you want a Proto...low ball offers should be the strategy going forward, basically that same "take it or leave it" attitude the dealers have had.
Also I like the idea of putting the dealers against each other by finding the same spec at multiple dealers and see which one will offer the best deal for your business...if I wanted a 2024 Rosewood manual there's at least 4 right now being advertised at the same MSRP so I'd include all of these dealers in the negotiations...many potential Z buyers have realized we won't be able to find what we want in our own state, so whichever dealer in the country that will provide the best deal gets the business.

Honestly the proto was just a cash grabber and there really is nothing special about it. If the paint was specific to proto only it would deem as a collectible imo. Given it being close to winter these cars would obviously sit until spring rolls around also. Parts of canada such as my area now and especially east coast along with alberta has terrible weather conditions for this car during this time

Seems to be more nismos then expected tbh and they are def not moving fast. I believe the price point they missed the mark

On Autotrader:
-Lowest advertised price for a new 2024 Sport Manual: $44,095 Rosewood at Kline Nissan MN and also $44,095 Black at Fred Haas Nissan TX (Fred Haas has 4 Zs total right now 2 Sports and 2 Perf).
-Lowest advertised price for a new 2024 Sport Auto: $42,052 ($2,043 dealer discount) Black at Jeff Wyler Eastgate Nissan OH; $43,352 ($2,218 dealer discount) Ikazuchi Yellow at same dealer Jeff Wyler Eastgate Nissan OH. This Z comes with a couple of the options like the A92 Z center caps and the H92 USB cable kit.
Thoughts: the market has flipped and will continue to correct prices downward based on weak demand and relative oversupply of this niche Z enthusiast vehicle. Dealers that are advertising below MSRP recognize selling conditions are getting worse by the day and are trying to make a quick sale rather than have their Zs sit on the lot for months. Many dealers advertising at MSRP will most likely be willing to come down on price but only after you ask for a better price. Dealers advertising above MSRP are going against the current depressed market conditions and are just trying to take advantage of anyone they can.
Prediction: During the next 12 months or so will be a good opportunity to finally find a decent deal on a Z. Inventory is piling up and will continue to pile up due to Winter season not conducive to driving in much of the country and worsening economic / car market conditions. As the 2025 models start rolling out a lot of these cars will still be sitting unsold and that might be the best time for dealer willingness to lower prices on a Z that's been sitting collecting dust all year.

Only 21 2023 Zs remain - only 1 sport. Big influx of 2024s. Currently there are 49 Sport, 351 Performance, and 168 NISMO.

My buddies at Horne Nissan in Globe, AZ have another Performance/6MT/Seiran Blue/Graphite (my spec). This one's a 2024. Funny. I got mine at MSRP from these folks, maybe they're still selling at MSRP.
