The seats are shaped such that a 4 o'clock belt slide makes for uncomfortable sitting. The item fits well into that manual compartment behind the passenger seat. Easily reachable with one hand from the driver's seat. Likewise easy to slam shut making the compartment and its contents unobtrusive.

Thanks for all of the replies. I owned a 2007 BMW M coupe based on the Z4, loved that car. I am kicking myself for not keeping it, as is worth twice what I paid for it now. They only made 1800 of them over the 3 year production. The Z is the closest to it I have found. It would be nice if Nissan had continued with a straight 6 cylinder, but the v6 twin turbo does have decent power. I agree with several responses that for this price point, heated steering wheel and remote start should be standard. However, I only buy manual transmissions, so that feature would not be available anyway. I am just waiting on the dealership to reopen so I can negotiate trade in.

What trim will you be getting?

My 3rd Z and I love it. It's neck and neck with my 07' Z33.

However, the only disappointment I have is Nissans handling of the launch, and the dealers greed.

In all seriousness my last performance car was a 1972 Malibu SS Midwest rust bucket. I thought it was fast at the time. I was wrong. This car is such a joy to drive.

Seriously, Nissan needs to put the VR30 into some Frontiers. One to be a Raptor competitor, and another into a lowered AWD Frontier and call it "Street Predator"

The biggest complaint is visibility. I'm 5'11" and my head barely fits.

That is nuts. I'm 6'4 and I have no problems fitting. Do you have your manual seat adjusters set to the floor?

Actually did not realize the Fairlady comes with a much more powerful, larger engine VR38. But I’m quite satisfied with the VR30 in my Performance. Quick and fast enough for me!

Tried getting a Z a couple of years ago. Could not get the color or interior I wanted and refused to pay the mark-up. Bought a 2023 BMW M240i instead. Great car, fast, fantastic interior but I just wasn't GAGA on it.

Fast forward to a month ago, found a Silver Performance, black/grey interior below MSRP in the LA area. Had to go for it as the silver seems very hard to find. I took a hit on the BMW but I now have what I originally wanted and feel really good about it. So nice to be back in a manual and although the M240i was a great car it just didn't have the fun factor of the Z.

Interesting, I did the same thing. They asked 20k over MSRP when I went to get one 2 years ago so I bought an M2C. A couple weeks ago I traded it for the Z under MSRP. Took a hit on the BMW as well but got the car I originally wanted.

Would we call it "Rodan" to go along with "Godzilla"? In all seriousness, I don't use my Frontier for pulling. Making it a more performance vehicle would be fun. While 4WD doesn't handle anything like AWD, it would be fun to feel all four wheels screaming off the line with the truck.
