  1. A Legend Returns: New Acura Integra Coming for a New Generation

It is a Civic essentially. It always was a Civic underneath. What is wrong to me is that it is a 4 door. The original, which I had, was a 3 door coupe/hatch. Apparently, Japan already gets the coupe version. I am holding out for that preferably as Type S based on the Civic Type R. Sadly, I doubt...
  2. ⏱ 2023 Nissan Z Launch Timeline Schedule - SOP, Media First Drives, Sales Start

I was thinking of the M240I as well until I found out they are built in Mexico. Plus no manual option and right now is only all wheel drive. I had a 335Xi all wheel drive and hated it. It won't let the rear step out if you want to have fun.
  3. Manual Supra Confirmed for 23?

I find it hard to believe it will happen since BMW currently only offers a manual in the M2 and M4. From what I have seen on their website build and price, there is no longer a manual available on any standard models. There is talk that the M240i may get one in the future. Fat lazy Americans...
  4. Ariya reservations / Anybody else receive an ariya preorder reservation offer?

Just found this : The reservation process: The simple reservation-to-delivery process can be completed fully online: Customers visit NissanUSA.com/ariya/reserve, set up a MyNissan account, select their Ariya using the Nissan online vehicle configurator and place a $500 refundable deposit...
  5. Ariya reservations / Anybody else receive an ariya preorder reservation offer?

I did not look into it very deep. I just saw that the new Ariya had a reserve now button next to it on the Nissan USA website. I am not sure how they handle it. I would assume they would still require you to select a local dealer to take delivery and arrange purchase. I was originally on the...
  6. Ariya reservations / Anybody else receive an ariya preorder reservation offer?

I just saw on Nissan USA site they are taking $500 reservations for the new Ariya. Yet I have read that there would not be any pre order or reservations for the Z. That seems a bit one sided. Has anyone else been able to get anywhere with reserving a Z.
  7. The car(s) you wish you had back?

Still kicking myself over trading this in. 2007 BMW M coupe, only a little over 1800 built for US market, 4K world wide. Worth more now than when I bought it. S54 motor was amazing with 6 throttle bodies. Took months of searching to find one.
  8. A Legend Returns: New Acura Integra Coming for a New Generation

By definition "Coupe" is a 2 door. I hate how manufacturers are selling "Gran Coupes" which are 4 door sedans. I don't have kids and have no need for more than 2 doors and my choices are quickly dwindling. Hopefully Acura will bring back the sport compact coupe of the 90's. I had a 1991 Integra...
  9. Nissan dealers with and without mark ups

Due to supply and demand right now and for foreseeable future, dealer mark up is very likely. Just story about couple buying new Bronco were blind sided by dealer markup at last minute before delivery. He was even an employee of the dealer. How to Avoid Being Screwed by the Dealer on Your New...
  10. Nissan Z - The Price is Right Edition / Expected pricing model?

I am afraid MSRP will be irrelevant as most dealers will be jacking prices to the moon. If they pull out a miracle and actually get cars to dealers in the spring, there will still be a global shortage of cars. High demand for new cars will give dealers ability to charge what they want. Just look...
  11. Q&A with Nissan US Director of Corporate Communications, Dan Passe - Submit your questions for discussion!

    1. Will there be any options available a la carte, without having to go up in trim level? Like heated seats, leather seats, Navigation, etc.? 2. Will there be an online reservation program to lock in your place in line to preorder? 3. Once announced, will the Nissan website feature a build and...
  12. Will Dealers Markup The Z?

Mustang Mach 1 is prime example of ridiculous mark up. I have seen them advertised from right at MSRP to as much as $15K over MSRP. This is not really an all new car. It is a GT with a few parts from the now extinct GT350 and an appearance package, for nearly $60K MSRP. So it is going to be a...
  13. Does anyone know of Dealerships that will be able to service the new Z?

Understand. Ultimately it is too early to shop around, most dealers are unaware of new models coming until there is an actual factory announcement. I would suggest contacting several in your area once there is an official announcement so they may be able actually give you an idea of what you can...
  14. Does anyone know of Dealerships that will be able to service the new Z?

I don't know why anyone would ever pose such a question. There is nothing special, new, or exclusive about the new Z. It is mostly being pieced together from the existing Nissan parts bin. Even if it was all new from the ground up, any Nissan dealership should be able to service it. However, I...
  15. Orders Open on 11/15/21 for 2022 Nissan Z

I would hope they bypass the 300 hp version and have 400 hp standard with potential for more with NISMO version. If is it 300 hp for base model, I would have to pass. My 4 cyl. Ecoboost has 310 hp, so no real incentive to get the Z.
