I hate the look of drilled rotors in the front with blank rotors in the rear. I rather wait for Z1 to make a Nismo 15/13.8, drilled and slotted so it not only performs but looks good.

Are they going to offer S-Tune, R-Tune and Z-Tune?

Nice all around - especially how the badges, trim & wheels are all the same color (chrome), did not know nissan had brand labeled tires.

unlike the current heritage chrome and bronze combo…. Big MIss - trim should match the bronze decals and wheels..
The tire branding on those shots is probably just for the CG mockup, but I guess we'll see....

Wonder how this may impact 2026 sales? I myself will consider waiting.
The '240-Z style Front Fascia' factory option on the '26 may help smooth the transition some. Suppose it depends on how many folks are willing to pay $1,199 extra to get it, and how many dealers order it.

Highly amused that nearly two decades after the Z34 was famously roasted for terrible brake cooling…they finally added ducting. And 2 pc rotors

on track i suspect Paragon or Racing Brake rotors will still be worthy investments
The current Z Nismo has a brake ducking system, it’s not a hole directing air, but it has these air ducks under the bumper to guide air to the brakes and the there are these metal plates that guide the air to the brakes.

reckon they fixed the cracking head issue? thats stopping me from buying! how do u guys mod ur cars, knowing youll lose warranty and feel comfortable if the engine goes boom? lol isnt that a huge expense
Head cracking issue is rare. Nearly all performance cars have some sort of endemic engine flaw that occurs in some % of the cars made. Ultimately if my engine blows up out of warranty I'll save up and put a new one in.

What's the difference in tire mean for treadwear/performance? I'd love to try this new rubber when my existing Dunlops wear out.

Looks like the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 was replaced by the Sport Maxx RS. It isn’t in the formal lineup in Dunlop’s 2025 general car tire or summer tire catalogs. The only mention I found (didn’t read every word) was a list that showed them as OEM tires on the GTR and GTR NISMO.

The main Sport Maxx listed are the Lux, RS and 060+.

i also can’t find specs, but I’d guess the treadwear/traction/temp to be 200AA to 240AA. The GT 600 is 200AA.
